I hope "Sports Science" is the first thing that gets cut. It's the absolute worst, lamest segment I've seen on any sports show.

Somewhere right now Dan Patrick is smilling.

ESPN is to sports
As MTV is to music Glad their ratings crashed. It's ironic that their obsession of wanting ratings over good sports TV is what's driving their ratings down. |

I hate Berman and the NBA and WNBA, nothing is perfect. BUt again, anyone who watched it in the 1980s knows how hard it is to fill up weekdays with sports. They've done a damn good job really.
Ok for the haters: what do YOU watch? Let me know the channels, I'm going to laugh at the shows that they have on during the days. So go ahead: fire away. Let me hear em. Let's hear that awesome programming. |

Why do you think they're bombarding us with all that female snatch constantly?

Let's go to Sal Palantonio in Foxboro to get Tim Tebow's reaction to the layoffs.

ESPN Sucks.
They need to get back to the basics. Cover sports, all sports. Not just Vick, RG3, or the Jets. Cover it all. I used to watch it all the time. Now I never do. I listen to sports talk radio, watch Dan Patrick every morning, and get the rest on line. Oh, and I can't tell you the last time I visited their website. |
Probably been mentioned, but the simple fact is, there is more TV sports competition now for ESPN than there has ever been.
NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL all have their own channels, Golf channel, Speed channel, NBC Sports network, coming soon...Fox Sports 1. the audience has become fractured. But the execs are big on sports coverage right now because its mostly DVR proof. Posted via Mobile Device |
