You don't really understand the way PFF works.
That's not what they're saying.
Overall they've given him high grades, but a couple of bad games are skewing his data right now. Look at the week by week breakdown.

Yes, I do.
My point is that they're disproportionately aggressive about taking points away in PFF. In a game where he had 2 sacks, a QB hit and 4 QB hurries, he gained a whopping .6 in pass-rush score. In another game with 2 sacks, 2 hits and 5 pressures he gained 1 and in another 2 sack game he again gained 1.
In the 2 games this season where he's not secured a sack he's yielded a negative 6.1 score in total. Hell, in a game where he had 2 sacks and 2 hurries they gave him a negative grade. So in a game where he actually earned 2 sacks and 2 hurries, he gave up all the progress he made in the game with 2 sacks and 4 hurries (yeah, that makes sense). Worse still, in the 2 games where he committed the unpardonable sin of not sacking the QB, he lost more than twice as many points as he gained in those 3 games where he accumulated 6 sacks, 4 hits and 11 hurries.
When the aggregate score is wholly useless, then perhaps you should change your scoring system.
PFF's aggregate scores are simply not useful at all.
