If you want to ignore last year. Sure. But last year happened. He was our 3rd best CB last year. He's also a guy that's 5'9 when we're trying to get CBs 6'0 and taller and he's coming off a season when he had reoccurring issues with his knee.

The only reason I'm not worried about a total suck season is because of Andy Reid. But the signs of a suck season are their personal wise that is for sure.

Declining play last season,does not fit the system, is always banged up or injured and we needed the cap $. Not a hard decision.

Gaines was my #4 CB and has elite measurables. He might not be a day 1 upgrade, but that just because he's a rookie. Since I'm pretty sure you haven't seen him play much your opinion on him is irrelevant anyways.

He thumped him, yeah, because Welker beat him so many times on his routes that all Flowers could do was try to retaliate when Welker wasn't actually getting the ball.
