Finnegan in his spot or Frasor or matchups?

I'm hoping Vargas goes 7. If not, then Frasor/Finnegan needs to get us there, and Davis should be ready if whoever pitches in the 7th gets in trouble.

Ned has said that he believes that Herrera's arm is a lot better suited to pitching multiple innings than Davis, but that he'd go to Davis for more than 1 inning if he really had to.

I'm guessing if Vargas is out after 6, then someone else will start the 7th, and Ned will reluctantly get Davis up if he has to.

Does Frasor worry anybody ??

Chiefshrink 10-25-2014 02:08 PM

When will Duffy see any action you think ??

BWillie 10-25-2014 02:08 PM

In two games it will be took the crown instead of take the crown

What we really need is a blowout. Score 7 or 8 and put it away early. We're never going to be more likely to do that this series than tonight against Vogelsong.

penbrook 10-25-2014 02:09 PM

It's the same lineup as yesterday

Given a clean inning? No. I might be nervous if he has to face the 3, 4, 5 and I don't think he'll pull off the Houdini escapes that Herrera's done coming in with lots of baserunners and 0 or 1 out.

If we have a chance tonight you go for the win tonight. Worry about tomorrow tomorrow.

Let's hope.

SF is going with Juan Perez in left instead of Ishikawa. Pence and Sandoval were also flipped.

Well obviously this would be the preferred option. I don't really see us doing that but it sure would be nice.

again, the point is not "saving" herrera, it is that he might not be effective tonight, but he could be tomorrow.

Precisely. Always go for the win. Whether it's tonight or Sunday it's all gravy in KC:D
