Is your "source" on this one Pete Rose?

Of course, they have a shit ton of fans.

Do you miss obvious jokes often?

Exactly, and you don't see the MLB beating down Vancouver or Montreal's door to bring teams there because none of the 30 million people in Canada give a shit about baseball.

Meanwhile, Winnipeg has a hockey team again. So there's that.

The Jays get the best television viewership numbers in baseball, so this isn't at all true.

That's who I was thinking about. He was such a douche about the O's and the Royals went thru them like warm butter. :D

Yea. I wasn't going to kick another man's dog. I was respectful to the Royals fans in the game thread and congratulated you guys for the win.

With the Blue Jays making these moves, if we don't make it, and they do, I know I'll be pulling for you guys to go all out again this year.

Jim Johnson!!!! There ya go, Dave :D

Wow. If the 2014 Angels had scored 0.5 more runs a game, they would have... oh, still been swept by the Royals, nevermind.

No they don't. And even if they did, perhaps it would have something to do with the fact that their "local market" is an entire country?

Meanwhile, they're getting outdrawn by small markets including Kansas City, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh, among others.

Uh, did you even read the article you cited? The Jays are listed right there as getting 590K per game. Nearly 3 times more than the Yankees get.

Sweet Daddy Hate 07-30-2015 05:38 PM

Sweet God; is this the KnowMo thread of useless baseball clubs?

That's viewers, not households, bud. The Yankees' 221K households figure is by far the highest in baseball.

And? I thought they were talking about city population and the attendance of the blue jays. What do the royals have to do with anything?
