We can't less of Smith. He is giving us less every week and will do the same next year.

No its not. It's what you do with the other rounds and FA that count more. And don't you DARE claim Fisher as a Dorsey pick.

Of course he was a good prospect. But you don't just morph into something because of people around you. He is who he is because of him, not because of bad luck for a decade. Good QB's make the best of players around them, not let those players define their career and use it as an excuse.

The oline problems are there, but when you are getting paid the money he is getting paid, you make the best of it. You don't make it turn you into happy feet and be afraid to step up and make a throw. Daniels is willing to do it, so should Smith. The national media has jumped on the sack narrative, but Smith is at fault for way too many of these sacks.

a 7.1 million dollar cap hit a drop in the bucket, I say cut him now and move on.

As for the draft, I don't see how you can pass on Nkemdiche if he's still there.

Everyone on earth has someone who is directly opposite of themselves. For Alex Smith, that person is Wade Davis. I wonder after watching that last night Alex understands how "non clutch" he really is.

I bet Alex drives an automatic.

Alex drives like timid old Asian lady. Can't merge or drive over 45 on the freeway.

Exactly this. He peaked two years ago.. and his peak he still ****ing sucked.

Its the same excuses and excusers for this guy for his entire career!

HE ****ING SUCKS AND IF HE WAS ON SOMEONE ELSES TEAM WE WOULD BE LAUGHING AT THEM!!!

Instead, we laugh at ourselves, or cry.

That's the core problem. We need better QB play. But there are maybe 5-7 QBs in NFL history that can make the current team a legit contender. Even then, the jump from legit contender to SB participant or even champion is a roll of the dice.

We have many holes and everyone is obsessed with filling one.

Have to startwith Reid. If Reid still is here the QB makes zero difference

I disagree. A good QB can start to over come the suck of Reid, and a great QB will outlast his sorry ass.

Pull...

that...

trigger.

You know how hard it is to find a vehicle with a manual transmission these days? They barely exist.
