I hate eggs yet I like eggnog with nutmeg and brandy

That's the best I've ever found. The local liquor store always struggles to keep it in stock. Good Stuff!

I love egg nog. Pour in a shot of good spiced rum (not that Capt Morgan's crap) and I'm good for the night....

A bit of egg nog and Glenfiddich late on Christmas Eve. We sleep like babies......

So this year I’m likely to make egg nog Thursday morning. I’m not cooking this year (first year ini don’t know how many years) and we are going to have a mid afternoon feast at a local fine dining establishment. Hope that the place we are going allows corkage fees because I have a few bottles of 2006 Louis Jadot Grands-Echezeaux that I think are in prime drinking condition.

But that leaves Thursday morning wide open so I’m making egg nog Thursday morning. Better than watching Detroit-Chicago, right? FMB always made egg nog this time of year for Christmas enjoyment so I figured I would encourage others to do so as well this year.

egg nog is worthless without some Jamison in it.
