alex is going to kill it this year

Perineum Ripper 05-27-2016 06:48 PM

I might be thinking of someone else but doesn't Alex's deeper passes "float" some..it seems they stay in the air longer than normal

Actually Smith has been throwing line drives lately.

maybe it's to compensate for less arm strength or maybe he's not accurate enough to drop it in a bucket.

We probably don't practice it enough either.

Actually he doesn't do a real good job of putting arc or air under the ball.

He throws most of his Deep balls line drive style

I must be thinking of someone else then..I thought I remembered him throwing deep and the receiver had to slow way up

I'm sure he's thrown a few of those , but you might be thinking more of Cassel?

I will admit, I am looking forward to watching Alex Smith as the Chiefs Qb this year.

Really nice to see the change in many CP thoughts over these last three years.

GO CHIEFS :)

Alex has always been a winner I'm surprised there are fans that don't like him.

Sarcastic Clay.

i've watched alex more than prob 99% of this board and it's games like he has vs the packers that make him just irritatingly disgusting to watch. But the games where he uses his legs, he pics the right read to beat the blitz, he calls smart audibles to help with the run game.. he strikes intermediate routes smoothly.. that's a very enjoyable alex to watch.i Dont think he'll ever have the long ball accuracy consistency due to his arm injury. if you watch his college tape, he actually has some decent zip on the throws.
