Initial impression is that Tyreek Hill and Rod Streater are the best receivers on this roster not named Jeremy Maclin.
Bray hasn't looked good, but to be fair, there were a couple of passes that his receivers should have caught, most notably the swing pass to West. Cairo Santos is going to win a couple of games with his leg. |
Chris Jones just keep getting penetration and pushing the pocket.
Desmond Moses flashes from one play to the next. |

I was dubious abut Ehinger as a starter out of the gate, but he looks like he's ready. That whiff was just a rookie that got juked by a smart vet. I only pointed that out, though, because I thought Alex Smith looked sharp, and the decision he made to just get rid of the ball was smart, which is an undervalued aspect of his game. With this line, Smith could have a big year, relative to his previous seasons. |

Justin March picks up where he left off last preseason.
Nice 4th down stop by the Chiefs, made possible by Jones' penetration and Desmond Moses discipline, with March making the solid tackle. Jones is not only big, strong, fast, and athletic, but smart too. Great awareness on a screen play. |

caveat: i was smoking durban poison during the game
rando observations Foles: Immediately obvious why he was signed, he knows - literally - how to be an nfl QB and no one else on our roster does. I don't know how much Reid can fix him, but I'm sure he can turn him into a perfect backup. Bray: Yeah, enough. Murray: looked better but I still don't see upside beyond backup. He's the #3. Hogan: practice squad (like right now..go!) Dee Ford: a faker...looks like a football player but isn't one Ramik Wilson: had a rep at uga for being soft, his talents don't add up some how...no killer instinct, but fine as a last lb/special teams guy for now Hill: human excrement...and also probably going to be very good, already looks shifty Peters: A gigantic cock is his spirit animal Spencer Ware: going to be a td (poaching) machine, and if charles falters ware will have a monster year behind this line OL: pretty stellar for first look...pray for health Offense: what else do you want? scored on first drive Chris Jones: Agile, large man who flashed immediately. A rare thing. He and Poe came out of the skull of the same god Hard to judge defense with so many pieces missing...worried about pass rush and run defense without houston...a healthy houston makes the front 7 absurdly talented, lets hope we see it before years end. The overall roster talent is amazing and I hope we can move some guys for 5/6th round picks. DAT and Kniles can help teams. SANTOS!SANTOS!SANTOS!SANTOS!SANTOS!SANTOS! I'd go with Murray's pass to Travis that was incomplete, and would have came back by the penalty if it was complete, that would have capped off a TD drive that also included 2 very impressive slant passes. Murray knew he was going to get planted, yet threw the pass on the mark to a player who was just in the process of coming open. Good read under pressure.
Edit: IMO, that was the best looking drive of the game. Would of been a TD if Travis would have hung on. Yes, penalty would have brought it back, but it is pre-season, and that would have been/was the best drive by any QB. Again, JMO. |

This team is going to cut some damn good players on the D-Line.
Williams, Nunez-Rochez, and David King all flashing. DJ Alexander and Justin March are better than Ramik Wilson. |
