Houston has plainly not been the same since his knee injury, either. Aside from Chris Jones, Ragland, and Kendall Fuller, there aren't really any ascending players on the team with upper echelon talent that have shown much. They're really going to need Kpassagnon to improve and hit on some of their draft picks, because not only have they lost a fair amount of talent, but a ton of leadership.

From what I have been hearing, it's the leadership that they want to change. If that is true, they have more changes coming.

How could we know that yet? Veach has some cash.

There are way too many holes to fill and not enough talent out there (plus depth) that you can do it all in ONE offseason. This looks like a 2 year plan at least.

Ron Parker wasnt good but it's just another need a starting safety. Where are they going to get it? Draft? FA? I guess that guy could be better by default but very well could be some nobody. It might even be someone on the roster already like Sorensen or Murray. What a shame that would be.

I'm okay with getting new leadership on defense

Meh. The talent they're replacing is bad save Peters.

So they will take a step forward?

I mean, we’ve got to do something. We’re releasing some turds... who cares. Losing Peters will hurt, but Parker, DJ, Tamba, hopefully Zombo, I say good riddance. It’s like drafting Mahomes, he may flop, but at least we tried. Our defense just flat out needs some changes.

They're gonna try and get young and fast on d.

It's a welcome addition.

This year you get growing pains with top 10 drafted Chiefs franchise QB.

Good pain!

Oh l completely agree. He’s the biggest turd of them all, and until he’s gone, it’s probably all a moot point anyway.

Maybe but he sat for a year. It's go time.

Was a good scrap heap singing, but he fell off the cliff last year. Good move.
