I don’t know enough about the upcoming draft to know if this makes sense.

For the Rams 2 I’d probably be in if we get 3-4 years out of him.

With a new contract though it’d put Berry and Houston on even thinner ice with those contracts.

His current contract is for 4 years 40 million.

Surely he isn't expecting a huge raise at almost 30, right?

Understandable.

If berry were to ever get back on the field we might be lights out for a couple years though

I can agree with this.

He probably is.

They are almost perfect compliments to each other, imo.

That's why I would be in on it. 3 year deal with a couple throw away years.

If you take out the pro-rated SB, he's making 8.5 this year.

He's looking at a paper raise.

We have to do something if Berry isn't coming back or is going to miss significant time. This Offense is too good to waste. But we can't rely on them to score every drive just to win. Gotta improve the D

So your saying that if Berry comes back the D doesn't improve?

Yep and why would you want that cancerous attitude in the locker room messing with PM2 when you know what you have in this kid who probably burnt Peters all the time in practice as the PS QB. I remember Peters on the NFL Network interview dissing on PM2 insinuating he picked him all the time. That was a big tell on Peters for sure that just the opposite was happening.;)

Absolutely would. I don't see why he wouldn't just stay in Seattle if a raise right now wasn't the priority.

Mother****erJones 09-23-2018 09:39 AM

KC hasn’t gotten any impact from 2nders like KPass or Speaks so far and has 2 2nds next season. I’m fine with it if he signs an extension. He’s an impact safety that would help out the backend tremendously. You have a window while Mahomes is cheap. Do it.

Edit: adding Thomas with Berry if he comes back would be legit. That’s scary. The you’d have Parker, Watts and Sorensen who is good as a depth safety more than a starter.

He gets nothing next year right now
