I'm sorry but I really can't possibly see how bad weather helps the Chargers at all.

There's a narrative being pushed...I've heard the following:

-The Chargers are the hottest team in the league right now. (They've won 3 in a row, barely beating CIN at "home".)
-The Chargers are built to beat the Chiefs. (Except they haven't beaten the Chiefs since 2013 and lost by 10 "at home" earlier this year.)
-Philip Rivers is so dangerous right now. (And Mahomes isn't?)

The narrative builds suspense, which I get. But I don't see any reason why the Chiefs don't wreck faces Thursday night.

Their last two of three are on the road, while the Chiefs have two of three @ home.

We have no excuse to not clinch HFA.

So you can see the storms forming out west. Anyone know when we'll have a better idea of whether or not we'll get hit?

You locals better show up. And no wimping out on the second level.

58-4ever 12-11-2018 06:32 PM

yeah, no snow at this point at night.

Weather shouldn't be a problem for Mahomes, Lubbock,Texas had 8" of snow last weekend, and I assume it's not the first time they had bad winter weather.

Frazod 12-11-2018 06:57 PM

We saw how well these Kalifornia types perform in cold weather a couple of nights ago. They're playing in conditions they aren't accustomed to, with a ton of injuries, on the road on short rest in a hostile environment where they haven't won for years. I know they'll have the ref$ on their side, but really, it shouldn't matter.

As a spectator, I would take 10 degrees and snow over 40 degrees, rain, and strong wind all day long. Tomorrow's forecast just looks debilitating if it materializes. Not looking forward to it at all, but I think it absolutely has to favor us, especially on a short week at home.

There's a possibility of some freezing rain as well.

Frazod 12-11-2018 07:10 PM

Well, I won't be there, so I hope the weather is as sucky as possible.

Y'all have fun! :D

I'd like to watch a good snow game. There haven't been any this year

Was thinking the same.

Looks like the forecast is clearing up pretty well. Very low chances for in-game precipitation.
