So Kaep's kneeling for the anthem was also a ploy to sell merch?

People really need something to bitch about...who gives a ratdick about a faux patriotic Nike shoe made in China?

It affects you ZERO except getting the sheeple whipped into a frenzy over nothing.

The internet has full control over your thoughts....it tells you to be angry.

If you are going to talk shit, BACK IT THE **** UP! with logic and reason for gods sake! On why this is ok for this idiots "victory". I am truly floored.

He is the most prejudiced individual I see. What exactly makes this ok? The nation was founded in 1776, slavery was abolished in 1865, women got the right to vote in 1921. What in your mind gives this shit head ANY SAY SO in a decision of a Betsy Ross tennis shoe for the 4th of July to have an impact?

You are an idiot to side with this moron. WOW, just WOW. I am not crying for a damn thing except support for this loser!

I can go all night if you'd like.

How many teams have reached out to this worthless piece of shit again? Let me help you out "0" Does that not tell you anything? **** him!

LOL

You're a ****ing crybaby

Brilliant, effective advertising/marketing yet again.

Wieden Kennedy is the hottest agency in the world right now for a reason - and that reason is because they continuously find ways to make the brands they represent the most talked about in the world in short spurts. People thought it was weird to resurrect Colonel Sanders using a different actor in every TV spot, but people like to talk about weird.

I work in this industry and I promise you...people are reacting exactly how Nike wants them to. This is all part of the plan.

LMAO

But for real, though. How weak do you have to be to get worked up over something like this? BREATHE.

Clearly. Anyone upset over this is insanely stupid.

You don't have to be upset about this to see how insanely stupid it is either. And its stupid.

It’s marketing and it’s effective. Pretty clearly not stupid, whether or not you can understand it.

I don't get it. I thought his burn was over police profiling and brutality ...

If this was a Police Badge Shoe with a black kid stamped on the sole, I can see why he might oppose it. But a flag? A Betsy Ross flag? She was a Quaker and an abolitionist.

Maybe what he was really protesting the entire time was US?

I dont think this was CK's idea...as mentioned before, a team of marketers likely concocted a way to make headlines.

He'll probably respond in a few days saying it wasn't his intention...and Nike misunderstood...or some other horseshit.

People are talking about Nike though...and thats all they want.

If Nike was as brilliant at marketing as some are giving them credit for then surely they could figure out how to more effectively market and increase sales to a large percentage of the population that has money and a need for their products instead of alienating them. Perhaps a patriotic product with some added historical relevance of some kind would do the trick.
