VAGOMO 4 LIFE! 10-05-2020 11:54 AM

We’re scoring 60 tonight

Or imagine that you fly in and then discover that the other team has stolen your uniforms and sent them to New Jersey.

Kill them. Wipe them from the earth so that future generations of innocent children never have to see a patriots uniform again.

Wow. RM must be out of Dr. Pepper

It's really funny to see Patriots fans whine that the refs stole the game from them last year.

Ironic? Don't you think.

Welcome to life as a fan of the big dog.

If you win big, it’s “we were supposed to”.

If you win barely, it’s “we underperformed”.

If you lose, fans and experts react like it’s the apocalypse.

Takes a little joy out of watching but it’s a nice problem to have.

Chiefs 44, Patriots 10.

Call me crazy but there’s something about this game that worries me. I know it doesn’t make sense but there is this thought that this game looks too easy & there are no easy games in the NFL.

I know I’m a worry wart but I’m kinda uneasy about this game.

Point to the spot on the doll where BB touched you

I get it. I understand this is the NFL and everybody gets paid. However, we have Patrick Mahomes and the other team has Brian Hoyer. Don’t over think this. Chiefs crush.

Eh, it's the same shit we used to do when we were the inferior team.

They actually had a legit grievance in that game, too. That Kelce fumble would have gone the other way for 6 and the Harry out of bounds play was a pretty egregious miss as well. I can't remember if Harry scored on that play or not but if so, that was two TDs taken off the board for them from shitty officiating.

This is gonna make me sound like a jerk I'm sure but I'm glad Clark replaced the orange seats with red ones when Lamar wouldn't do it.

That's residual "because Chiefs" bias. If you've been a Chiefs fan for more than a few years, well, we've watched our team go into a game that they should dominate easily and then somehow get spanked "because Chiefs."

I have it to. Still. It's straight reflex after 40 years of "Chiefs" things just happening.

What I have to tell myself some days is that Patrick L. Mahomes II is, as Jim, Rome said after LIV, "the ultimate eraser." He doesn't just erase deficits on the scoreboard, he erases deficits on the team. Even erases coaching deficits. Ultimately, Patrick erases doubt and replaces it with confidence. And then he erases opposing team game-plans. Both offensively and defensively. Both among their players and their coaches. He erases their confidence and replaces it with doubt.

Sp, I'm really not worried about this game, barring injury, because Mahomes is the Great Eraser. He will do what he always does and the Chiefs will play well.

Oh, and Hoyer is starting for NE, so there's that . . .
