At this point, just sit Pat so he doesn't get killed with everyone out. Play all the backups, treat it like a pre-season game. Just take the 'L' and go win the next 2 and hopefully that's enough to still get the #1 seed. We just need NE and the Tits to lose once each.

I'll take our chances and then hopefully we're good to go for the playoffs w/o having to worry about all this crap . . . . . .

Jones is still on the list though. He was put in covid protocol early last week. I'd bet that most of those guys are not going to be able to play Sunday.

It makes little sense to think players who tested positive are going to test negative within a few days. That really doesn't make any sense unless the test was a false positive.

If you actually get sick it could take weeks (or longer) to test negative, at least on a PCR test as it cant tell the difference between live and dead virus from what I understand. Not sure about others.

This is where I am also.

As things currently stand if Jones, Gay and Gordon return, the players on the list can't play at the weekend and we get no new cases moving forward.

I don't think it will happen even if they move the game. A negative test just won't happen that fast vaxxed or not. That's the way it has been. Gonna be a bunch of 3rd stringers playing with our seeding on the line. Really sucks ass.

Playoffs the league probably won't even test much. That's when they feel they need full teams. Last year did any player miss the game in the playoffs? None of the big names did.

I think the Bucs need and outbreak. They deserve it.

All the crappy receiving targets and linebackers are passing the test. Only the good players are testing positive.

Exactly my man. That's why I'm not counting on hardly any being able to play Sunday. Those quoting new protocol rules are in complete wishful thinking mode. No sense worrying about it, because it is what it is.
