Yes, and it was like he wanted to get the points back that he gave away, and was never right in the second half.

Edit: Felt that he let the coach and team down and he could never get back into rhythm.

Mahomes lost this one 5 ways

Looked like Jamarcus Russel out there. From last play in first half throughout second half Mahomes was terrible. This was the Mahomes from last Super Bowl, completely lost.

If you have told me that the defense gives up 24 points in regulation at the start of this game, i would have said the Chiefs win by at least 10. Something happened and the team just was flat in the second half.

It was a bizarre transition, for sure.

I have a hard time believing our offense couldn’t beat man defense.

In the game chat I said at the start of the 3rd that he needed to let that play go and move on....I was afraid it was going to eat at him and I think it did

Sometimes your best just get beat.

Eager to see the all-22 footage.

Did Mahomes miss open options? Were the guys not open?

If guys weren’t open, then they will be addressed this off-season with better talent.

Kelce was wide WIDE open on the huge sack and loss right before we kicked the field goal. Hardman too, I believe. No idea what he was doing on that play.

Mahomes is much more mentally fragile than I initially believed.

You've been saying this same dumbass **** since you were calling for Matt Moore to start over Mahomes in 2019.

Find a new line.

That second half was nothing resembling their best

I wonder if something happened between Mahomes and Andy Reid after that failed play to end the first half.

Andy bypassed a FG at the urging of Mahomes, trusting him to make the right decision there and he didn’t.

When Tracy Wolfson reported that Andy told her the play call there was to be a pass immediately in the end zone… that was a rare moment when Andy didn’t give his standard “I am to blame” answer when covering for his players’ mistakes.

Mahomes played like a QB with zero confidence in the second half… have to think that final play of the first half had a lingering impact.

Pat can't be that mentally weak.

Mistakes happen. You were on fire the rest of the half.

How do you let one play linger like that? It's just unfathomable.

Yeah, first time I've ever seen Andy throw one of his QB's under the bus, Alex included.

Wasn't a good look, at the end of the day Andy's the head coach and responsible for those playcalls.

He tried to do it all and failed.

Throw the ****ing ball away, dude. Still love you.

lol at depression planet right now

Mahomes has gone to 4 afccgs and won half and 2 Superbowls and won half and he's entering into his prime

He's already a HOF QB and you've got at least another 10 years of him

Losing sucks but we're going to be back next year

Yeah, I'd have felt like that if he had lost to Buffalo, which actually I think was a better all-around team, but to lose to an inferior in this fashion, harder to swallow.
