Well hell. Okay. Three times but that’s really it. Don’t know how I forgot that one.

Honesty

Put down everything and don’t lie about anything. Own up to it all. I’ve been through 3 days of interrogation. I always end up feeling like I’m the lowest most worthless POS that ever lived.

Bad part is when they go through every negative event in your civilian and every negative event that ever happened in your military career.

You would be the guy crying like a little bitch if you had to spend a few nights in the can. ROFL

I was never booked but I was hooked. Me and a buddy went down to Speaker Road in Turner. Back in the day that's where all the street racing occurred. We had heard people were going to be racing that night. Well we get down there and not a soul in sight. So we say lets see what she'll do!

He romps on it and we start roaring down the street. Next thing we know flashing lights are in front and behind us. I quickly toss a beer out the window. They arrest me for littering and my buddy for driving with an open container and reckless driving. They impound the car.

On our way to the station the cop rolls past a car smashed into a telephone pole in front of a gas station on 7th st. with no driver in sight. So he has to stay at the scene and transfers us to the next cop that shows up to take us in.

We get to the station and the Desk SGT. says where's the arresting officer? Cop explains he's at the crash on 7th st. He says no arresting officer kick these kids loose.

I have been one lucky SOB. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I have been pulled over while drinking and been told to either go straight home or walk home. That was back in the early 80's. Wouldn't get away with that crap today!
