McKinnon has a long injury history, doubt he makes the club.

McKinnon is fast and easily the best blitz blocker. I think he has a better chance of making the team than RoJo

I thought Rojo looked a little small at there when I seen him I was like so that’s Rojo?

CEH is a lock. I don't think you can hide Pacheco on the PS with all the buzz now. I doubt we keep 4. I don't see how both McKinnon and Jones make the roster. It's one or the other. Tough call. The roster is just loaded on offense.

Pretty sure we could get away with him on the PS even though if he does well on ST he won't be there. There's buzz at TC all over the league. Has Mckinnon even practiced yet?

Yeah he's 5-11 208 pounds. I say this only because those are my exact stats too lol

Maybe he was standing on his tippy toes.

ROJO? Are you serious? I have to ask, what are YOU seeing? I do not get this, especially from you. I value your opinions but need reassurance on your thinking on ROJO - he has been practicing with the #2's. Please enlighten me.

The Chiefs had a horrific RB room last year. If you look at the advanced stats, we had as much daylight (thanks to our OL) as nearly any other RB room in the NFL and then did less with it in terms of earning extra yards. CEH was miserable. McKinnon didn't even see the field.

When I say as a "pure RB" I am not remotely talking about an "all around" guy. But 1st and 10th or 3rd and 3 and I'll take Rojo over any of them many times over.

LMAO

I love it! Question, what about Reid NOT using the running game as much as people seem to want? Does that kind of snuff the candle before it is even lit? Follow me?

You and I want the same thing. A RB to do better with the huge advantage our line gives us than what they did last season which is nothing.

Whoever wins out, RoJo, Pacheco, McKinnon, it's going to be better than last season and we'll be happy.

When he used the running game, it was so much less effective because of our RBs than it should've been. We literally underperformed if we just simply had JAGs by a meaningful amount.

That's probably why a coach like Reid who usually is running averse anyway was even more in that direction this past season.

Pacheco will make the team as a kick returner cause Toub for the most part just wants an athlete back there and he is that. Don't see him cracking the RB rotation though unless he's just amazing in preseason and even then, we saw Derrick Gore be amazing in preseason and then still get buried on the depth chart. It's going to be hard.

I'm not so sure about that. If these guys play to their potential and stay healthy then of course. I would include CEH in that too

Running on first down in the NFL can be equated to sacrifice bunting in a baseball game. There is almost no reason to do it unless your quarterback is Drew Lock or Daniel Jones or something.

Thanks! That makes complete sense and I appreciate your explanation. :thumb:
