I can’t even think of what kind of pinch would move him to RT.

Mahomes deciding to beat the Broncos left handed for an entire game, which would reverse his blind side.

Rose looked really good to me. Would love to see him on PS.

I remember when Niemann looked really good for an undrafted guy…

Yeah I liked him too, REALLY liked Sanborn, gutted he went to Chicago. Rose looks a decent option, seems a smart player who'll play above his athleticism.

Yep. Deal is Christian is terrible. KC will be in serious trouble if OBJ goes down. Lack of Tackle depth is pretty scary.

Veach is something else. They turned over almost the entire back half of the roster. We actually have meaningful cuts coming, this team is so much better than it was a year ago, especially on defense.

The only way we are going to compete for a SB every year and not waste Mahomes years is to follow the NE/Bellicheck model that allowed then to win Super Bowls.

HOF QB
Great Oline
WR JAG's
Great defense
Trade great players with one year left that you're not resigning to long term big contract for draft picks

They turned their roster over every year. Aging players, players with pending big contracts traded, replaced with cheap draft picks.

If Jones is traded this off season for draft picks, we will know that Veach is going to take this path.

You move Thuney out and put in Allegretti at guard.

Thats the weakness of this model above is the team doesn't have depth when a player goes down. But.... King Carl did the best 53 and we didn't win a playoff game for 20+ years.

Carl sucked as a GM. I'm sure that his head coaches had more to do with his players selected than he did. That's why the defense was top of the league but the offense sucked under Schottenheimer, then the offense was top of the league while the defense sucked under Vermeil. Veach, on the other hand, has put top talent on both sides of the ball I'll take that any day.

We aren’t going to be like New England in that run. Hell even New England didn’t compete every year they had a big gap in there.

I don’t know. It seems the Patriots never had a down year with Brady at the helm

The Patriots 9 year title gap (2005-2013) included 2 SB appearances and three consecutive offenses that scored 500+ points (2010-2012). Brady won MVP twice (2007, 2010). Their only weak seasons were 2005 and 2009, where they still made the playoffs at 10-6 but combined for a 1-2 postseason record

Why not?

I think we can absolutely draft better than Bill did. This draft and last year's would argue that we can. And we've got a shitload of picks again next year.
