It's great to see CP, a tough crowd, appreciating all that our beloved MVS gave the Kansas City Chiefs organization. Once the championship round starts, like Sammy before him, MVS is inevitable!

I feel like his release now means he wouldn't take a pay cut. I have to believe that Veach offered him a restructured deal, but based on his entire two seasons of play and not just based on playoff performances, and MVS said no.

He thinks he is better than he actually is, but he helped us get 2 more rings, so good luck to him.

I have said this for two years, MVS is the slowest 4.3 player ever, and he is the smallest 6'4" player ever. He didn't play fast, and he didn't play big. Let's get a true big receiver.

Sold.

But we shall see if that happens.

Hat tip.

We probably don’t win those Bowls without Valdez-Playoffs, and goddamn winning Super Bowls is a lot of fun.

Like DJ said, beers on KC. Best of luck.

But GODDAMN what could have been if he’d have showed up all season long.

His game sealing catch against Baltimore in this year’s AFCCG will go down as one of his biggest and most underrated plays in his time here.

I mean really all he did was beat the safety deep who was gambling that we were either running or throwing at the sticks. Then mahomes dropped it short so he couldn't screw it up. He still had to catch it yes but while exciting, it wasn't spectacular. His performance in last year's afc title game was a complete body of work. Several big catches in that one.

MVS can make simple catches exciting.

Justman59 02-28-2024 08:11 PM

Thanks, MVS for some good playoff moments :wayne:

You darn near killed me during the regular season.;)

The AFCCG against Cincy was probably his best playoff game ever, no doubt. Regardless though that catch vs Baltimore was in a very high pressure situation. He's dropped lesser catches all year.
