I remember during the Pats run people would constantly trade draft picks to the Pats. Belichick couldn't draft to save his life, so it never really hurt, but teams absolutely did trade with the Pats.

BB would just trade down and draft a Patriot League OL or a shitty WR.

I mean, sort of. There were a LOT of other teams that could have taken him ahead of us. Not really fair to dump this ALL on the Bills.

While neither of those guys look as great as we hoped they did both help us win Super Bowls. Even Skyy Moore had a massive punt return to set us up to beat the Bengals and then had the TD against the Eagles two years ago. Then of course Hardman last year.

There's definitely another level of "bust" where even that kind of thing doesn't happen. Even Veach's "busts" have made key plays on championship teams.

I think what I learned from that is when you draft a WR, draft on traits. Even though Hardman isn't some special player he has value because he has an elite trait.

We better get real comfortable picking at 32. If we 3 peat and Worthy has a huge year our days of trading up in the draft are over. The rest of the AFC is going to stop picking up Veach's calls.

McDuffie wasn't from Buffalo, we just traded in front of them to **** them that time.

Buffalo literally traded the picks that became Mahomes and Jefferson this is why they won't win a SB. You can't do shit like that and win, the football gods forsake you.

Oof.

Forgot about that Diggs/Jefferson deal.

And again, with Allen, they did as much as they could to salvage the Mahomes mistake.

Which kinda showcases the gravity of that mistake. If you manage to grab one of the 3 best QBs in football as a 'fallback' and you are STILL drawing dead....phew, that was quite the **** up.

A 20+ yard TD once a game? Sign me up.

Busted coverage is true.

But he was also absolutely stretching the field.

I guess he still has to prove durability at the NFL level.

It's also like anyone who isn't a fan of this team is completely missing that when you add Hollywood Brown to this, guys are gonna be running in wide open space all the time.

You can not defend Brown and Worthy's speed over the top while dealing with Kelce/Rice over the middle and then getting Pacheco, there is no defense talented enough to take all of that away. Not 1

I know the games haven't been played, but I'm just not seeing a truly elite defense out there on paper. The Jets look like the best to me, and they don't have the edge rushers to be truly elite.

What a great year to have maybe our best offense yet.

He pretty much cleared an entire side of the field on the Perine misfire
