In Pittsburgh we’ll have Humphreys and you’d think a much healthier mahomes versus a short week dinged up version of him. We very likely also get Hollywood in this game versus rushing him in versus Houston. I hate the idea of looking past a week but if there ever was one, it would be this game in the middle of a brutal scheduling stretch |
I know mahomes is tough but right after a pretty significant injury do you want mahomes playing a short week followed by a very short week? Or would we rather have one long recovery week. I’ll go with the long week. This is why you pay backups the big bucks. It isn’t to lead a playoff team, it’s to steal a win or 2 when called upon. And we’ve seen before even with a way lesser qb in henne reid is capable of dialing up a masterful gameplan that is just good enough for even a backup qb to do that. It kind of falls apart as the defense adjusts but it’s doable for a game or 2.

No, just have Mahomes go full-on Tom Brady and throw almost nothing beyond 15 yards, and run the ball a shit ton until he's at least close to 100%.

They are going to start ramping up...and Brown should play. Bills coming off an emotional win might drop one to the Jets...not expecting it but could happen, it's a divisional game. If the Chiefs win and Bills lose..they can rest up for a month. Bills have given up 40+ in consecutive games...not what you want heading into the post season. I think they've allowed around 1000 yards of offense in the past 2 games. |

Mahomes could have finished yesterday's game if necessary.
If he is able to play, I believe he will. At the earliest sign of mobility issues or pain, there's a good chance he's benched for the game. |
