We have not seen a maxed out Mahomes.

Playing as a don't make a mistake game manager is not the top end of what he can do.

Andy knows how to run anything WCO that Gruden can do with his eyes closed.

College coaches would be a good addition as well.

Gruden since he was fired from the Raiders has been basically full time studying offensive trends in college/NFL football so he’d bring that knowledge + familiarity with Andy’s offense and Mahomes.

We have one of the absolute best QBs in the history of the sport. He's not going to play forever. We could be back in the era of no playoff wins before we know it. So when you get to the position where you have a shot at the only 3peat ever and a shot at only being two Lombardis shy of becoming the most decorated team in NFL history, all the "I'm just happy to be here. I just hope they had fun. Good try, Andy!" stuff is over.

I didn't say Andy should be fired. But he shit on the carpet again and he should have his face rubbed into the mess until he learns to stop.

No it's not.

You have risen your expectations up so high that you're setting yourself up for disappointment. The likelihood of winning SB's consistently, even with Patrick Mahomes at QB, is so unlikely that you have set yourself up for sadness no matter what.

If you really are at that point where you're disappointed we don't win a ring every year, I don't know how to help you.

Losing this game is one thing. Looking like a Mountain West Conference playing against the best team in College Football is a different matter. There's no planet on which 34-0 is acceptable. It was a Twilight Zone type moment watching that game. We hardly ever lose and now we're down 34-0!

Getting beat by a few TDs was a possibility. Losing a close game would haunt everyone but it was a possible result also. This result is humiliating.

Everything else is the whining of a spoiled fan base.

I mean, this.

Patrick Mahomes has 3 Super Bowls in his first 8 seasons.

Joe Montana had 3 Super Bowls in his first 9 seasons.

Tom Brady had 3 Super Bowls in his first 14 seasons.

Things he DOESN'T have, that those players had: blowout losses before the conference title game and non-playoff seasons.

Mahomes is the ****ing gold standard right now.

It will pass. There are no style points for dynasties. Only glory.

NOTHING about this era is humiliating. EVERY other team wants to be us right now.

Words like "humiliating" have no place here.

It's not spoiled to expect your head coach not to get embarrassed in the biggest game of his life. It isn't whining to point out that he pissed down his leg on the biggest stage again. If you want to give him a hug and some warm milk and tell him the most important thing that is he tried, feel free. But fixing a problem starts by admitting it exists.

Hammock Parties 02-17-2025 04:54 PM

I can't imagine this place if, last year, our season had ended 49-3 in Buffalo, and we followed it up this year with another total disaster AT HOME against the Texans.

That's what happened to Montana.

Sounds humiliating and then you know...one of the greatest teams of all time came two years later and no one ****ing cares about his playoff losses 30 years later.

Actually, it is whining. It's loser shit. No coach is perfect. Andy is as close as we're ever gonna get. All the greats piss down their leg at some point. Lombardi embarrassed himself in Washington. Don Shula went to a Super Bowl in 1984 and then spent the next 10 years being Marty. Belichick debased himself with Cam Newton. No one cares.

GLORY lasts forever.

RunKC 02-17-2025 04:59 PM

They just need talent man. That’s a major part of this.

But yes I would love to see someone Sark’s Texas offensive staff here. I watch that team and their play designs are so goddamn good. We even copied a couple that Worthy ran when he was there
