San Fran tried to murder him with touches.

Hopefully he's not done.

Hmmm why Mitchell AND Jones? Why not Hunt, he played well for us last year!

No Jones. That was from 2022. He was comparing the Mitchell signing with the Jones signing.

I think the attraction for Mitchell is the 4.38 40-speed. Hunt filled in nicely for us, but speed was not there.

Look at the speed and elusiveness =. I will take it,

The Chiefs had the least explosive RB room in the NFL. Only 17 explosive runs of 10+ yards in 17 games. This kid can block too. $3 million is cheap as hell.

They had zero juice once Pacheco was out. None. Perine and Hunt were 4.6 guys when they were young. They weren’t explosive at all last year.

Load the RB room with young explosive playmakers. They’re gonna draft another explosive kid in this draft too to make it 3 young guys with elite speed.

Thank God

100%

This dude is legit when healthy. Hopefully it turns out like McKinnon in terms of putting the injuries behind him. But this guy has legit talent. Do the people in this thread who don't know who he is even watch the NFL outside of Chiefs games? Mitchell is a talented back who has been hit with injuries his first few seasons, just like McKinnon was.

Sassy Squatch 03-10-2025 02:52 PM

LMAO Good grief, the revisionist history on McKinnon is insane. He had 105 rushing attempts here in 3 seasons. Total. He had 81 the season before we signed him.

JohnnyHammersticks 03-10-2025 02:58 PM

 Bitches about revisionist history then proceeds to list McKinnon's rushing attempts while completely neglecting to mention his 94 receptions and 14 receiving TDs during his 3 seasons with KC.

RunKC 03-10-2025 03:00 PM

“Up to 3.5 million”

His base salary is probably half that and the rest incentives

Mecca 03-10-2025 03:02 PM

He likey has almost no base because there's no guarantee injuries haven't nuked his athletic ability.

Yes. Because he's actually a 3rd down back. Elijah Mitchell isn't

Easy 6 03-10-2025 03:14 PM

McKinnon all over again, I'm good with it... it worked once, so why not take another shot?

But we still reeeally need a fresh young homerun hitter, its bad enough that I wouldn't be mad at using our second on one... then add some hidden gem undrafted guys to the PS
