chiefs1111 10-11-2008 01:28 PM

Bad pass by Bradford and thats the game

chiefs1111 10-11-2008 01:29 PM

There will once again be a new number 1

Shag 10-11-2008 01:29 PM

I think that WR stepped in front of the intended target there...

Spott 10-11-2008 01:29 PM

It's cool to see OU lose, but now we have to play the #1 team on the road next week.

Frazod 10-11-2008 01:29 PM

Well, if Missouri can take care of business tonight, we'll have our shot at the throne next week. I have no idea how we'll match up against these guys.

Wasn't mine.

Came off a UT board. Funny thread. You should read it.

Frazod 10-11-2008 01:35 PM

Heh. It should be interesting to see their take on OU's punter.

chiefs1111 10-11-2008 01:35 PM

goodnight Mable

RustShack 10-11-2008 01:36 PM

Too bad Bradford doesn't have an arm like Stafford, makes it harder to make a comeback.

OnTheWarpath15 10-11-2008 01:36 PM

DOWN GOES FRAZIER! DOWN GOES FRAZIER!

O/U might be the highest in history. Should an interesting game.

Realistically, I think we'll probably lose. I just hope we keep it close, and then get a chance to face them on a neutral field in December.

I agree. I would love to win next week, but if we can keep it close I would rather face UT in KC than OU.

But boy, if we can pull it out....

Enough of that shit, though. I hope our players are thinking about tonight instead of next week.

Haven't seen much of you since halftime of that KU/ISU game last week.

How'd that work out for you?

So...should I ask it...

Where were the NFL throws?

All over the place. Didn't you see?

Your WR's always give you a 5-10 yard cushion in the NFL and the coaches only ask you to go across the middle 5 yards.

In our run up the Olines ass, move the chains, try your best to convert 3rd downs offense, we only need to have the QB throw no more than 10 yards. Anymore than that its arena ball.

RustShack 10-11-2008 02:26 PM

That was Bradford? I thought Herm talked Stoops into playing Huard...

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-11-2008 02:34 PM

I just don't think that Sam Bradford projects nearly as well as what the people pimping him have claimed.

RustShack 10-11-2008 02:36 PM

Its easy for average fans to think someone with great stats playing for a great team will be a great player. They don't pay attention to the fine details.

It's really not about the loss either. I still look for OU to win the Big 12 and probably play in the National Championship with Bradford at the helm. He's an excellent signal caller and a great college QB. I'm sure he'll make a fine pro QB for someone, but I like Stafford a hell of a lot more as of right now.

Bradford could rise, Stafford could fall. A lot of things could happen...

And as I'm typing this Stafford follows up a nice solid dart with a dumb INT.

Stafford's currently is having a real shitty game against Tennessee

okcchief 10-11-2008 03:35 PM

I like Bradford but I have always said I think he needs another year in college. I don't see him coming out this year at all so he's not even in the discussion this year really. I do think he has a chance to play QB in the NFL though. He won't be some quick savior though and may never even be starter caliber.

Colt McCoy played an incredible game today. THere were so many plays were OU was in position to make a play and he threaded the needle every time. I honestly think Colt and Daniels are the cream of the crop(at the college level anyway) Bradford has more talent around him over all than probably both.

I can't wait for Mizzouri at Texas. It's going to be off the chain.

KChiefs1 10-11-2008 03:38 PM

The UT vs OU game this year was the best I've seen in awhile....

#1 Mizzou
vs
#2 Texas

?????????????????

That kid from OU is one heck of a QB and had OU won this game the national media would have been nuts on him. He threw for 5 TDs and showed he is a big time player. I watched this game because I thought it would be a good one and I hate Texas. Mizzouri at Texas should be a good one also and I plan on watching it also. It will be strange as I hate both of them lol

Surely Mizzou is the lesser of two evils. :)

Mecca 10-11-2008 05:14 PM

Hrm this show on ESPN kept showing OU lineman downfield on the bubble screens that may explain why they worked so well since that is suppose to be a penalty.
