The camper is not a problem and don't worry about getting here early unless you just want to,the real stress is coming from the job and that's all on me.

OK, I just sent my fellow Montana brother both of my LJ Jerseys for the "LJ jersey burning." He will be bringing them to Joe's shindig for me.

GUYS!

Xlibutscrale just informed me he will INCINERATE KANSAS CITY if we don't all go to Jack Stack's on Monday.

So keep that in mind.

007 08-30-2010 08:42 PM

ipod touch doesn't come with any sort of wall charger and you have to purchase chargers that are specifically made for the ipod to even work. You can't just buy any usb charger out there, it has to be designed for apple products. I have one that will plug into a wall or into a DC adapter or I can even plug a 9 volt battery on it in a pinch. it is big but does what I need.

There's an Arthur Bryant's by the casino or a Gates right around the corner from the stadium on 40. Why settle for good when you could have great?

Hammock Parties 08-30-2010 08:54 PM

*sigh*

I liked Jack Stack over Gates, but I'll try Bryant's.

I just want us to all go together, it'll be fun.

Uh, Nzoner. If I happen to give Bugsy and Buck a ride to and from the game, would it be alright if I crash at your place after the game as well? Pretty please?

007 08-30-2010 11:44 PM

The only thing I need is a ride to the game from Nzoner's place. I have a ride home from the game though.

Well then you may as well ride down with Luv, Buck and I, since I have your Royals ticket. We're planning on doing some pre-tailgate tailgating before we go into the Royals game, and then heading back to do the real tailgating.

Although this is all assuming Buck doesn't mind going to the Royals game for a while. I suppose he could always sit in the car if he doesn't.

There is always a chance.

007 08-31-2010 12:12 AM

By the way, I heard there is construction on the Highway 40 entrance and the manchester entrance right now that really makes the cutoff more crowded that normal. Just FYI

Buck 08-31-2010 12:13 AM

I know this is messed up to wish for, but I want to witness a football game in the elements for once. We get minor rain in January for playoff games, but never otherwise.

I have no idea what this means, but we should get there early enough that traffic shouldn't be an issue.

It won't affect us since we will be there for the Royals game. It will, however screw with people coming in just for the Chiefs game during rush hour though.

Oh, I'll be packing mine as well. I really don't mind the rain during the game if I'm prepared for it, but it will definitely put a damper on the tailgating. Plus it will screw us up for the Royals game too.

It will never screw up drinking beer though.;)

If only they could make waterproof shoes.

Buck 08-31-2010 12:47 AM

What would you recommend as far as rain gear? Just a plastic poncho or what?

Depends on the rain. If by plastic you mean a cheap dollar store one don't bother. it will be ripped to shreds in no time flat. Get a Stearns or Coleman poncho from any walmart for 10 bucks or less. I have a poncho and a rainsuit.

We(guys riding with me) were discussing this yesterday and figured if it happens to be raining hard we're going to hit a sports bar and take in some of the Jets-Ravens game.

2. It's still two weeks away.

I can live with that. We got 2" of snow up on the mountains already this week. I might have to break the Speedo out for the bash!:D

Nzoner 09-01-2010 08:12 AM

If we get the "strong" thunderstorms predicted on Wed and Thurs before the bash the walk down to the bonfire is going to have to go by way of the driveway because I'll have a marsh down by the trees.
