I'll tell you what, Pioli or Romeo likely won't be the same ever again. It's sickening and I can't comprehend watching someone take their own lives.
Prayers to those guys as well in dealing with this tragedy. |

Rany Jazayerli @jazayerli
So to recap: Javon Belcher thanked Scott Pioli and Romeo Crennel, then shot himself in the head in front of them. I don't even. |
This is shocking and sad. As if the murder-suicide wasn't bad enough, now there's a 2-month-old girl who will grow up without her parents, for no reason at all.
|
Thanks for the new thread and thanks to all those here that are trying to keep it classy. Hard for us all, no matter what you think of everyone involved.

ESPN now reporting that chiefs fans were cheering for Belcher as he was taken away....
Eric Winston is live after this message from your local provider... |

This had nothing, absolutely nothing to do with that. The Chiefs players weren't getting support because they were 1-10. No team gets support when they are 1-10. This isn't new. The SOC wasn't singling out Belcher, they weren't singling out anyone but Cassel and administration of this team. Not one person who advocated for change with this team should feel responsible for this. Despite what this complete piece of garbage of a human being tries to spin on this thread. |

So tragic. Just completely shocked right now.

Friends, family and teammates are going to have a tough enough time with this. Actually witnessing it? You're right, they'll never be the same. |

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
Player talked with Pioli, Crennel & heard police drive up. He walked away from them. KCPD: "A couple seconds later, they heard the gunshot." |

this may be the wrong time to say this but hopefully this will force the NFL to start paying much more attention to player mental health. not saying that playing football caused this at all, but maybe an untreated mental health issue did.

I support SOC. The fans have EVERY RIGHT TO DO SOMETHING. I haven't like the vicious and malicious attacks on players. Like wishing death on players. You can see some of that even on this thread. That lack of civility and immaturity is not representative of most Chiefs fans but for some reason is allowed to flourish on this board. |
Truly sad for both families, and prayers for the little one.

Can you imagine being a parent and watching your daughter get shot right in front of you?

And sadly, the Hunts could use all the good PR they can get. |

One good thing in this thread besides that ****ing mouth-breather is that I noticed Hootie is back.

Keep in mind his did kill someone first. Maybe he didn't want to face the consequences. I'm just saying we don't know |
You guys need to learn to ignore Denise. She's just toying with all of you. You're giving her what she wants.
These guys are all people, just like me and you. I feel really bad for Crennel. Forcing him to go out and do his job tomorrow after he had to watch that would be brutal. I can't even imagine. Especially for him because I'm sure he feels like a father figure to these guys. It'd be like watching one of your kids die. Same is true for the mother of Belcher's girlfriend... just brutal. |

Nor, I would be willing to bet, will there ever be any. |
If I were a player and my bosses told me to go to work the day after this happened, I'd tell him to go **** himself.
The players shouldn't have to stand for this bullshit EVERYBODY HAS TO PLAY 16 GAMES THAT'S THE RULE! |

The Hunt's have no obligation and probably no knowledge of Belcher's home life. If that is the case, adopting a child you don't know because of some societal perceived obligation just accepts blame that isn't yours. |
If this were a popular QB Goodell would reschedule the game.
Pioli, Romeo and whoever else witnessed the event need some time off and some professional help. |

The girl was about 2 blocks behind us. Lots of traffic driving by, cops everywhere, crime tape stretched around the house and at each end of the street.
We are just shocked. Wow. |

I probably meant to say could instead of should. in no way are the hunts obligated. I was saying in a humanitarian act to adopt the child.
