ROYALS WIN!

-King- 04-30-2013 09:00 PM

Great win.

Shields 2-2 now.

siberian khatru 04-30-2013 09:00 PM

Kickass game.

Shields is a mother****ing bulldog.

cosmo20002 04-30-2013 09:00 PM

NICE

gblowfish 04-30-2013 09:00 PM

I watched this whole game, didn't post because I didn't want to jinx them.
I'm so happy for Moose. Nice of him to break out tonight.
Win was because of Moose, Hos, Frenchy, Johnson, Cain and Salvy.
Well done, and way to get Shields the win. You know he wanted this one bad.

He was completely unfazed after that 2 run start. What a pro.

tk13 04-30-2013 09:00 PM

That's what ace pitchers are paid to do right there.

Dartgod 04-30-2013 09:01 PM

Great game!

Moose gets the early shower

Pablo 04-30-2013 09:03 PM

Moose looks coked to the gills in the post game interview. Gotta love it.

MeatRock 04-30-2013 09:03 PM

Win

Chiefspants 04-30-2013 09:04 PM

Awesome to have James get the win today, despite having the worst start he could have possibly had, he kept us in the game and set us up for our late inning rally. Pivotal games like today could be what keeps us on the field until October, and it's why this trade could be well worth it in the end.

I wish we had two more just like him.

Demonpenz 04-30-2013 09:11 PM

Statement game tonight by the Royals. They aren't going to have long as losing streaks with quality pitching on the mound.

Yep. Now we need Santana to deal like he has been.

Sure-Oz 04-30-2013 09:16 PM

Shields is an ace

SPchief 04-30-2013 09:17 PM

Bottom half of the order brought it tonight

Saul Good 04-30-2013 09:19 PM

I'd like to think that this game was the future of our team. Cain, Hosmer, Moose, and Perez all put in work.

SPchief 04-30-2013 09:19 PM

Ned: I don't think it was that big for him ie Moose.

Was he even watching Moose after that HR?

Saul Good 04-30-2013 09:19 PM

Yost is feeling fat and sassy in the post game interview.

RedDread 04-30-2013 09:20 PM

If Dozer could sneak in a quality start tomorrow this could be a great series.

He's a contrarian, especially with Nate Bukaty.

He's pitching after Shields?

Demonpenz 04-30-2013 09:23 PM

I would say Shields has a bit of Redass in him. This team has lacked Red Ass players since Michael Tucker and Matt Stairs.

Yeah, they're sneaking him in between Shields and Santana because he missed a start due to all the rain-outs and off-days.

Saul Good 04-30-2013 09:25 PM

Moose has raises his average by 47 points in the last six games.

RedDread 04-30-2013 09:25 PM

Okay, what the hell is that logo on Shields hat?

If Santana keeps up his April output, he will either be huge in September or get us a huge haul in August (possibly next April, per the new MLB compensation rules.) I am also eager for Duffy and Paulino's return to the pitching staff. They were my favorite starters entering the 2012 season (amazing how much can change in a single year)

RedDread 04-30-2013 09:28 PM

Rex Hudler does the Nazi Salute whenever he expects a homerun?

That explains sooo much.

AussieChiefsFan 04-30-2013 09:30 PM

awesome win!!

The cake has a white square around it. I feel like we need something to counterbalance it. Perhaps a cube of the ebony variety.

We should probably send him and Hosmer down.

CaliforniaChief 04-30-2013 09:56 PM

Yeah, that WAS big for Moose. And the team. That HR pulled the team right out of the little funk they were in. And Moose's reaction told the whole story. I was SO happy for him. You know this has been killing him.

Nice win. Keeps me on pace to win my pre-season Vegas bet on the over-under for wins at a paltry 77.5.

Mama Hip Rockets 04-30-2013 10:25 PM

What a great game. Love the attitude of this team. They're so fired up.

They showed a shot of him leaning against the dugout railing sometime after that and he had the look of a man that just had a lot of weight lifted off his shoulders.

If him and Hosmer continue to improve, it's going to be a fun ride.

KChiefs1 05-01-2013 06:48 AM

The attendance last night was embarrassing.

12,000??????

Nzoner 05-01-2013 08:27 AM

Nice interview with Shields on MLB Network and then got some Royals love from the hosts.

Canofbier 05-01-2013 09:01 AM

So...is CJizzles starting tonight's game thread, too?
