Three TDs and not one INT...even under pressure

I am happy for the Jets - nice to see them turn it around

Geno tonight was the 1st rookie in the Super Bowl era to post a 3 TD/0 INT, 80% completion game on the road. Not shabby.

mikey23545 10-07-2013 09:47 PM

Meh...Atlanta's D has been getting used for batting practice by other teams all year...

Here's some food for thought....

Was told earlier not to expect trades but if the Falcons lost tonight, they'd make a phone call to Atlanta to see about Gonzo.

There's some concern Kelce will be out the year.

Do it, do it now

Ebolapox 10-07-2013 09:55 PM

****ing sucks that the geno ship has sailed. we'd have our second rounder next year to trade for more help AND we'd likely still be at least 4-1. and, you know, we'd have a much longer window to win.

The Bad Guy 10-07-2013 09:57 PM

Gonzo's cap number was 5.25 mill this year. Prorated that's about 3.7 mill. Chiefs could absorb that.

O.city 10-07-2013 09:57 PM

Would they do the trade now?

Some of you guys are so butthurt. Forget the emotions, forget the past...different administration and a guy in a different place in his career.

From a football perspective, it makes perfect sense.

What's wrong with being a vegan narcissist?

I'm a vegan narcissist and I am absolutely loving it. I'm generally the best person I'm around for the entire day, every day.

Shit, I just went fishing on a Monday, caught five beautiful trout, and released them all because, well, I'm a vegan. And a narcissist too boot.

With our defense, we need to play ball control and Tony G moves the chains all day. Alex Smith loves throwing to the TEs. Tony is in fantastic shape.

Teams wouldn't be able to bracket Bowe anymore.

The running lanes for Charles would open up big time.

It sucks that Atlanta wont let him go and Tony may not even want to come back.

How much would tony improve our 3 down problems?

It would be a great move imo

Eleazar 10-07-2013 10:27 PM

He played a good game tonight. He hasn't been good so far this year, but he was today. Good for him.

So what?

It's probably time for the board obsession to end. It's ridiculous that 2 or 3 people have kept this screeching match alive for 6 months about a tweener mid-2nd round pick.

We have a QB who's not lost a game as our starter yet, we're undefeated... why not just enjoy it?

NWTF 10-07-2013 10:28 PM

What happened to the Falcons? I never really saw them as true SB contenders but I thought they would be a solid playoff participant for the next few years. 1-4, loosing to the Jets. wow

BossChief 10-07-2013 10:28 PM

Hey Dorsey/Reid...wanna have a better chance at beating Denver?

All the picks they've spent on their defense just aren't working yet. And now their offense is banged up.

O.city 10-07-2013 10:30 PM

They're best defensive player is out for the year too

Plus (a big plus), is that we got this guy:

http://media.sacbee.com/smedia/2013/...pD2.Em.55.jpeg

****ing Duck McGrath can flat out ball.

And you know the Beard isn't going to be calling in with a sprained ankle injury sustained from a pickup bball game every time a practice session comes up.

I don't want Alex Smith throwing to you either...

I just went by the Falcons boards to look for some good meltdowns. A Saints fan kept trolling them with a bunch of pictures of Sean Payton smiling. It's hilarious. ROFL

He has played 5 games this year. He has been undeniably good in three of them, and bad in two of them.

Thanks.

He's on pace for 100 catches, 1000 yards, and 10 TD's this year through 5 games. We are short handed on TE's and Alex loves to throw to the TE. He'd be a huge pickup if we want to win a playoff game.

So it makes you both insane AND drives you to just want to **** with innocent animals? I mean it's one thing to release a fish that's too small, or even the wrong kind of fish, but to just catch them for fun sort of makes you an asshole on top of insane... And if you don't think so, ask the fish.

Do you trap deer just to kick them in the nuts and then send them back out into the woods. Yeah, that's fun!
