The Royals didn't exactly stand tough... they cowered quite a bit in this series.
|
Is it too late to abort bsroyals?

Guys I want ask you a question.
Honestly, after watching this series, what is your opinion of this Bluejays team? |
Ehh, F it. Let's go stomp a mud hole in DET's ass and put them down for good.

Nature Boy!!! Jays gonna sweep the Twins and get control of the 5th wild card spot. |

a lot of crying from the Jays today ...considering they dinged us I think 4 times this series they have nothing to bitch about. Donaldson was lucky to never get tossed. He should have been when he went stampering out of the batter's box, which is against the rules this year.
|
Dozier hit a HR to tie the game.
|
Bsroyals is well versed on shitty assholes, eh?
|
Twins just tied it at 1....****ing hate Dozier

Twins will win...it's just fitting for today....still 7 games up if they do but not the direction we want to be going

Dozier hits a HR to tie it. That guy doesn't quit.

The bad news. Lost 3/4 in a series we should have split with Toronto (if Davis was available in G2 we do). The good news is we play teams with losing records in 5 of our next 6 series.
|
Double for Seattle, 1 out in the 10th.
|
Shouldn't we be rooting for Minnesota as we don't want to face Toronto in the ALDS?

Even though my Bluejays beat your Royals, I'm still convinced you guys are better.
It's just the pitching. Your pitching is awesome. I'm impressed with Davis and Holland. Wade Davis to me is the best relief pitcher I've seen this year. Greg Holland is one of the best closers in the league. If a team is trailing against you guys and it goes to the 8th, the game is pretty much over. Davis and Holland are pretty automatic and will secure your team victories. That's key especially late in the year. Your team is the type of team that capitalizes against other teams mistakes and you have good situational hitting. I like that. One of the better bullpens in baseball with good situational hitting and your winning a lot of close games. That's the main reason why I think you guys are the best team in the American League. |

I'm in Minneapolis today. Saw Target Field this AM. I'm SO glad Kauffman Stadium is not downtown. All the main roads here I-94, I-35W and and I-394 are all torn to shit. I mean torn up to total shit. I don't know how people get around here. Tomorrow coming home in morning rush hour is gonna be a major pain in the ass.
Target's a nice looking park, just in a really bad spot. I'll take the Truman Sports Complex ANY day. Still the easiest stadium in the USA to get in and out of. |

Andy McCullough is still putting up quotes from Volquez. Dude apparently had a lot to say about Donaldson.
Just glad were not playing the south-siders after the Jays, you know that shit would carry over. For as competitive as we've been fighting with the Tigers for the division the last few years, there's no bad blood there. |

A little bit of fire going into Detroit isn't a bad thing. Get back to our game in a pitcher-friendly park.

I've always hated Toronto - even back to when we beat them in the playoffs in '85. Bunch whiny bitches then and now.

The Twins aren't really making this hard on us right now. They could've gained a lot of ground this weekend but they Twinned it.

|
Well they won't get in the wildcard race with the mouth. They won't play in hitter friendly ballparks where warning track flyball look like blasts. That bullpen is weak so they will need to bang every game. Problem is the Yanks can match them there with a great bullpen and my understanding is they have lot games left with them. Its gonna be tough.
|
Sure wish there was a game this afternoon

@BHIndepMO: Josh Donaldson's Sunday: 0 hits, 3 strikeouts, 1 walk, 1 HBP, 5 tantrums. |
I don't mind us being fired up a bit. In the past 30 years it was a rarity. I think Volquez likes to be on edge. Nice to see some intense baseball. Reminds me that millionaire athletes can care about the game.
|
As long as Minny loses games, that's prob all that matters. They'd have to play .600 ball rest of the way to realistically have a shot to catch us and they aren't doing that
