It’s time to start the conversations about a huge extension with Chris. Even with a year left on his deal, if we can tack on sone years after next year at an AAV of Donald’s deal, it needs done. He’s a god damn unicorn and wrecks whole game plans. Lock him up forever, clear some cap space and let’s go.

Dude is playing at a level rarely seen and flat out dominating. Should be a finalist at DPOTY if he keeps it up.

McGlinchey's body language before Jones clowned him today reminded me of watching that 6'10 skinny white dude helplessly eat it against Shaq in his Lakers days.

At this point it's between him and Parsons for DPOY.

His play on the last drive was so freaking good. Who knows how stressful it gets if Herbert picks up say 15 quick yards there. It snuffed out and glimmer of hope. Herbert thought he was being clever and that made it even better.

God I love this man. He's been almost as instrumental in our wins as Mahomes. The guy just comes up in the biggest possible moments and is clutch as hell.

Chris is going to set a record year. We're seeing a fully realized Chris Jones.

If we win against the Eagles, there's really no doubt. He's 28 at this moment, Aaron Donald is 31 and is considered the D-Line player of this generation.

Donald has 490 combined tackles, 178 assists, with 103 sacks in 138 total games.

Jones has 243 combined tackles, 75 assists, with 65 sacks in 107 total games.

In 31 games, essentially two more seasons, Jones would have to double his combined tackles, assists, and get 40ish more sacks to match Donald's numbers. Shows you how insane Donald has been in his career, but if Chris Jones wins 2 Super Bowls, and Donald only has the one ring, it at least gives him a leg up. So if you extend Jones for another three to four years, the likelihood of him reaching another Super Bowl with Pat and Co in that time is pretty good.

And a REAL HOF resume, too.

OBJ, if/when he costs us guys, will cost us the ability to retain someone like Sneed and/or Bolton. Or we may have to move on from Thuney. And while Thuney is better at playing G than Jones is, he's also just a guard. We've found adequate G play from several different sources including the waiver wire.
