Chiefs had 33 plays over 30 yds this season, which was tops in the NFL. Guess who was second? Seems pretty simple to me; the team that limits the other the most effectively with these wins. I think we have the advantage if we get into a shootout with Houston.

Reid is 17-3 coming off a bye

We’re gonna push their shit so far in they’ll be pooping outta their pie holes, this game will put BOB squarely on the hot seat
|
Wow. The spread for the game is -9.5 Chiefs. Vegas really doesn't think HOU has a chance.
Of course, looking at some of the advanced stats, I guess I can't blame them. |

That was the kind of response you routinely see on here!! |
Football Outsiders ranks Houston as the 27th Pass Protection OL. KC has the highest rated pass protection OL of the remaining playoff teams.
KC can protect their QB...AND the Texans have a poor secondary. Houston cannot protect their QB...AND the Chiefs have an elite DL. https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ol/2019 |

Only concern I have is superficial. Romo is calling the game, and we have really poor luck when he calls our games. That’s about the extent of my worry with this game.
I can still remember the mic picking up Hyde’s comments when we played earlier this year (“They can’t freaking stop us”)...so I’m looking forward to destroying them. It worked out perfectly that the Tits can go up to Baltimore and those two teams can beat the shit out of each other. |
I’m new so I apologize if this has been talked about before but we are going into this game much more healthy than the week 6 matchup.
Pat was nursing his ankle at the time. Frank Clark was no where near healthy and just look at the list of inactives... https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...cebbe0d343.jpg This game should look much different. |

Buffalo sacked Watson 7 times. Chiefs need to hit him and hit him often, and wrap up and tackle.
Solid tackling on Sunday will go a lonnng way to making the game a blowout. |
It's officially texans week time to neuter them.

Honey Badger is a stud.
I think he will get at least one interception this weekend. |
Rewatched the first game highlights.
Darron Lee ****ing sucks. Defense itself looks completely different. That defense couldn't get off the field to save their lives. Clark 1-1 in the open field against Watson was a disaster over and over. A fumble and a pick in the same game we gave up, one inside the 10 yard line. Their fuller dropped a lot of passes. Hyde killed us that game too, don't think he'll be able to match that again. |

It’s the chiefs and the playoffs and yet some here are telling others not to be nervous?
Did we have an influx of new chief fans who haven’t watched the chiefs much. ? |
Yeah this shit pissed me off. Worst call against us all year IMO

I'm just hoping for a big lead early on and that Mahomes refuses to play Reidball in the second half and keeps the pressure on. |
Suggs could be a nice little X-Factor in this game.

I ****ing forgot that Darron Lee was starting in our defense. Good God he’s trash. Can’t tackle at all. Ragland didn’t play any snaps either. He will make sure we contain Hyde

That said Chiefs have a great shot at beating the Texans. At home and I feel like we have the better O and our D is probably slightly better than the Texans D but it's one game anything can happen especially if Chiefs make dumb mistakes or Watson gets hot. |

”Hope so. Better not embarrass the Kingdom next Sunday. Make sure everyone is ready to win.” |
And this team will come prepared and mentally ready to play. Between Andy and Pat they'll make sure of it.
Plus, guys like Kelce have been here; they remember when the team didn't come ready to throw down, and how embarrassing it was to lose. They aren't going to let that happen again. Since the Titans game, this team has shown up for every game, and taken care of business every time some dipstick said, "uh oh, trap game." "This is the kind of game the Chiefs will stumble over." Or whatever. They haven't done that this year. The core of this team has matured; they aren't going to make those kinds of mistakes now. Mark it down. |

Andy Reid coming off a bye, playing our best football of the year, and it’s a home game...this is what I tell myself when I start overthinking this game. I think we will boat race them.
|
I expect Spagnuolo to go HAM with the disguises and exotic blitzes. Watson’s big flaw is holding the ball too long, if we can get ahead of the chains, they’ll have opportunities to confuse him and create sacks/turnovers.

I think Watson has real playmaking ability. Hopkins is a beast. But there is a reason Chiefs are favored by 9. This should be a beat down.

Holy shit I just realized Kelce lead all of the AFC including wide receivers in receiving yards

You also wonder how much of the Fuller will be ready is smoke and mirrors. You know the next day he will be gtg in a week with a groin injury? Especially when he aggravated that injury by coming back too soon prior? We shall see, but either way, LFG!

This is gonna be a loooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnng week.

Gonna put all my effort into my work and play Breath of the Wild in the evenings. Must pass time quickly. |
Buffalo was basically going up and down the field on Houston's defense for most of the game, and the Bills still probably left about 200 yards (at least) worth of offense on the field due to Josh Allen being inaccurate/dumb and their mediocre WR's/TE's.
