I hate that the Wolves and Grizzlies are playing each other in this first round. I wouldn't mind seeing either team win. Minnesota hasn't won a series since 2004 and Memphis has had a bunch of solid teams over the past decade that just couldn't make much noise come playoff time. They did make the conference finals in 2013 but got swept by the Spurs.

Kyrie is a weirdo but is a great ****ing player. What a shot
|
TATUM for the win!
|
I see Playoff Demar is 6 for 25. Seen that before.

I wonder what the idiots who claim "there's no defense in the NBA" think about literally every playoff (and play-in) game up to this point. |
Oh right, the Suns.
Looks like they're good again. |

Let me repeat that in case San Diego is reading, the last time I relocated to a city the Blackhawks and Cubs won world championships. |
Oh, so NO has the guy who wanted $100k to play college ball and the guy with the attention whore dad.... nice. I hate them already!

And if the ****ing Cards host the Super Bowl next season.... |
Booker out with a hamstring issue. That sucks ass, hope it’s not serious.
|
Phoenix can still beat the Pelicans without him, but that's a potentially championship deciding injury if serious.
|
Ingram was incredible.

Embiid. One of all-time Goats at center.
Jokic. Garbage man. |
Was at the game tonight. What a performance by Embiid. Effectively won them a game by himself they had no business winning. I still don’t trust Harden but maybe this is the year he can get them to the Finals?

Still, the 76ers will have to go through both Miami and Bucks/Celtics/Nets. Those are tough matchups. |
Warriors-Sixers would be a fun series as a KU fan.
Give me Embiid and Wiggins in the Finals. |

And yes, this current iteration of the Raptors is no competition compared to the Heat/Bucks/Celtics (I don't think particularly highly of the Nets right now if Simmons is not going to play). We'll find out about the 76ers soon enough. |

That was a big time run to end the half and hopefully swing the momentum back in the Grizzlies favor. Was getting out of hand quick. Hopefully Edwards injury isn’t anything too serious for Minnesota. He’s been playing great…hate to see injuries in the playoffs.

Crazy game in Minnesota tonight. T-wolves were up 47-21 in first half. Grizz cut it to 7. T-wolves took it back up to 83-62 late in the 3rd. Grizzlies went on 21-0 run to tie it. Grizzlies lead by 5 with 5 minutes to go.
|
Up 10 now with 1:17 to go! Unbelievable!
|
Wow I was watching in the first half and figured the wolves were destined to win this one. Guess not
|
Woof. 9 points in the 4th quarter.
|
Fantastic comeback by the Grizzlies. I think benching Adams has affected Ja a little offensively with the drop-off in pick and roll action, but it looks like the decision to change up the lineup has become the difference in this series. Brandon Clarke was huge tonight. The most talented 1-15 roster in the league stepped up big time and never gave up even with Ja having an off night.
It was also fantastic watching Pat Bev try and convince himself he could carry a team offensively in the 4th quarter tonight. I cheered every time he put up a 3. ROFL |
Whatever shuts Beverley’s mouth. Can’t stand that guy.
|
That was one of the worst and most quick collapses I’ve ever seen from the Wolves.
|
The non-Jokic Nuggets are so, so bad.
|
The Nuggets gave the Warriors their best shot in that 3rd quarter.
|
Any asshole could have stepped up and won it for Minnesota last night and all of them stood around with their dicks in their hands. ****ing AIDS.

I hope Boston wins tonight so there can be another chance for a 3-0 comeback. Toronto has that opportunity also. I hope they do it. I don't know why but I've always wanted it to happen since it has never happened. I've seen 2-0 comebacks when it was a best of 5 series.
Orlando got beat by a combined 58 points in games 1 and 2 against the Heat in 97, and they were down by 25 in game 3. They came back and won game 3, won game 4, then lost a close game 5. Could've been one of the greatest comebacks and upsets in NBA history. The Heat were a Finals contender as a 2 seed and 7 seed Orlando had an interim head coach and only like 7 active players. I was so disappointed when they came up short because I never gave up on them. |
Nets going to get swept in the first it seems.
|
What's the deal with all these idiots running on the floor and gluing/chaining themselves to objects at TWolves games?

That explains that, I guess. I can think of better ways of promoting animal rights than rushing a court and getting immediately tackled with nobody having a clue what you're doing.

At least glue girl did damage to the court

Yeah that sounds about right. Not sure how any of his teammates can ever respect this guy. |
Darn but that was a fun game
|
Maybe this is the year the 3-0 comeback happens. There's 3 teams with an opportunity right now. Denver just won and made it 3-1. The Raptors won and made it 3-1. Brooklyn is down 3-0 to Boston.
Let's go Raptors, Nuggets, and Nets! |

These Pelicans are a scrappy bunch. The Suns are in trouble if Booker can't return this series.

ROFL
Christ. Why the heck do they always have to keep chucking up 3s, especially when it's painfully obvious that they can't hit one? Actual basketball has apparently gone the way of the dodo bird. And these officials suck. |
