Didn't Cincinnati choose last year to sit starters even when they could improve their seed? I wouldn't rule out them doing it again. If it's a difference between home Fields perhaps that is a different factor compared to last year.

The Chiefs, Bills, and Bengals, all play on a triangular field. Each team rotates so that two of their units (offense, defense, and special teams) are playing on different parts of the triangle playing each of the other teams.

And the game is played at a point on the earth that is equidistant from all three cities, which I think would be somewhere north of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

That would just start the problem with the four teams who have a shot at the 7th seed. It would be a shitshow. Buffalo should play tomorrow then Monday or forfeit.
