Football Outsiders predicts us to win:
https://www.footballoutsiders.com/dv...uper-bowl-lvii Five Thirty Eight predicts us to win: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...ex_cid=rrpromo Five Thirty Eight gives Hurts a 247 season-long rating and Mahomes is 280. Further, it seems significant to me that Hurts' EPA dropped from +.24 EPA before injury to +.07 and his completion percentage over expected went from +3.3 to -3.0, a drop of >6%. https://underdognetwork.com/football...-stats-to-know The Philly offense got a number of points from turnovers and penalties, so I'm not super sure about how good they're going to actually be. But this will be the #1 offense against the #1 defense. Past 2 matchups of that in SB have resulted in the defense winning. I think we see that change this year. |

Team X has the better roster. Chiefs have the better QB.
Be ready to hear this for the next decade. |
SF was way better and a much tougher opponent than y’all ! That was the REAL
SB! Your defense is nowhere near SF ! Everything you have is MAHOMES and Kelce! |

The Bengals and their fans certainly did and they're watching the Super Bowl from their couch. |

Bragging about your cupcake schedule is rich man, the Eagles would have been the Dolphins in the AFC. |

Philly's win over them means exactly dick. They picked on a handicapped kid and won. |

By all means, talk talk talk. It's all we heard from Bengals fans all last week. They're incredibly silent now. |

That all world defense gave up 30+ to Washington and Heinicke...that's pretty badass dude.

Honestly, I feel that if our defense plays them lilke they just played the Bengals. I think we win relatively comfortably.

Imagine beating a 3rd string QB with a torn UCL and then bragging about it. LMAO
Why are other team's fans so ****ing dumb? I don't get it. |

Sneed and McDuffie are studs. Thornhill and Reid are both solid at safety. Willie Gay and Nick Bolton are one of the best LB tandems in the league. Our DL is like top 5? in number of sacks and Chris Jones speaks for himself. Frank Clark in the playoffs is a monster, and our rookie Karlaftis is looking like a vet this time of year. Our defense is exploitable, though. We struggle in coverage against #1 WR's, and our pass rush hadnt been consistent all year long. But don't be surprised if you guys aren't scoring at will like you're accustomed to. |

I wasn’t expecting CIN to beat KC again! I picked PH/ KC sb before each games ! CIN is just JV version of KC ! They are just as cocky as your golden boys ! That god sent MAHOMES might not even finish the game come SB ! |
Our defense is far more battle tested that Philly's. Change my mind.

But, it's also his boring, monotone voice, and his terrible filler between plays. Pair that with Captain CTE, and they are the worst "#1" announcing team in sports. I would rather listen to The Manning Cast or the opposing teams radio broadcast, than listen to Buck and Aikman. Sent from my moto g stylus 5G using Tapatalk |

One thing I've noticed ever since Mahomes started here, other team's fans show up to talk smaque beforehand, until they can't, after.
|
This is just like PHI/ NE sb ! NE rolled in with the star power ! While PHI rolled in to get job done !

Yeah, I'm sure the team that played... Mr. Irrelevant... and a career street FA QB guy... and then Mr. Irrelevant completely unable to throw the football because his UCL was torn... at the most important position in the sport and the most impactful individual impact position in all of sports Really posed a tougher challenge than the Chiefs. Right. I get that the Eagles just won in completely dominant fashion, and you're riding high. But if you're basing your read of the Chiefs offense off of what you saw in the second half of the AFC title game, you're doing it really wrong. Mahomes was less than he'll be. Kelce was less than he'll be. 3/4 top WRs out, #5 WR wasn't active, so they literally were running their #3, #6, and #7 receivers when running 11 personnel. |

For most of the season, I was worried about 3-4 teams. Buffalo, Cincinnati, Tennessee, and the Chargers. After those teams ... the Eagles and 49ers I guess. Maybe I just don't pay enough attention to the NFC. They just don't seem to be on the same level as the top AFC teams. I mean we're talking about Jalen Hurts...I'm just not concerned

The drastic drop in production statistically shows it. And the eye test backs it up. Less zip, less accuracy. Is a week of rest enough to get it headed the right direction? I don't know. I suspect if it was an injury rest could help, they would have yanked him earlier against SF and also not been using him as casually in the running game. Probably going to require some offseason stuff to really fix. |

Boiling it all down for you. I see constantly here that the Eagles played a cupcake schedule, They didn’t play anyone… and, Jalen Hurts sucks, The Eagles will have to try to hide him Because he can’t pass the ball. When I see stuff like that, and post irrefutable facts like comparative opponent winning percentage, passer rating from the pocket, common opponents, playoff opponents,… Then some of you Einstein‘s label me as dumb. Even though the numbers are really above reproach. Yes you may have played a couple better quarterbacks, but the teams those quarterbacks played for(your total opponent winning percentage) was second easiest in the league Show the Eagles some respect. I have a ton of respect for the Chiefs… You won’t see me saying they have a cupcake schedule, even though it was much easier ( opponent winning percentage ) than the Eagles. You play who’s on your schedule. And in this league it’s a Sunday to Sunday thing… Anyone can beat anyone… Colts versus chiefs exhibit a peace. |

Sagarin says we are -0.5
SRS says we are +0.5 Vegas says +1.5, I expect that to tighten. (It opened at -3 by the way before swinging to Philly, and we just saw that vs Cinci) TLDR: the teams are essentially dead even so it’s pointless arguing about “schedule” |
