I seriously think Mahomes is just so used to getting quick pressure this year that he locks onto a receiver too often. I think if they can get better play at LT then Patrick will go back to being his usual self.

We are running very few if any horizontal plays... ie jet sweeps, push passes, few outside pitches. These would slow down the pass rush. It was similar last year and then we ran quite a bit in the playoffs.

I don’t think he’s holding things back. I do think they want to tune up a few aspects of their game in live situations as the playoffs approach. Explosive plays on offense being one of them.
