Do you think the Chiefs can win any of the games vs the NFC East, and we have the north 2 so that's atleast 2 losses right there.

Better team doesn't always win, we almost beat San Diego twice last year for example. On paper and on the field we are probably worse than all 4 of the NFC East teams but that doesn't mean we won't come out of those 4 games with zero wins. Not saying I would bet on us in any of those games but I wouldn't count any game an automatic loss. We'll win some games we shouldn't this year.

just to clarify i know the opening schedule is a gauntlet. an IF we somehow make it 3-4 or 4-3 which is doubtful, i think we could be dangerous. confidence is a weapon.

He's getting old and he had a huge carry year, it's really not surprising.

I give them a chance against the Redskins, I expect them to get fully raped by the Giants and Eagles though.

I agree...our schedule is the bitch this season. We won't win very many games this season, but it ought to make us a stronger, meaner team for it.

I can't wait for GoChiefs to explain to us all how LJ saved the day, and Mike Brown doesn't SUCK BALLS.

Was pollard in after the first series? I know Brown replaced him early, but did he ever go back out?

Sweet Daddy Hate 08-21-2009 09:30 PM

6-10 and 3 of those don't come till December. We have a rough schedule.

well....did u think even w cassel that the dolphins wouldve demolished the pats like they did? this is my optimistic prediction.i see the chiefs beating washington and MAYBE dallas.oakland both, san diego and denver 1 apiece, cleveland and cinci. so 8-8. id call that a successful season

Yea, The QB and WR have to have the timing of that down after working together for awhile imo to make that work at a decent success rate. It was high risk for success agreed.

I have to see how they play the run before I predict some of those, if we play the run poor or have the NT problems guys like Marion Barber will shred us.

I guess the folks in KC didn't have to suffer through these Vike homer announcers? They are slobbering all over Favre.

Pioli Zombie 08-21-2009 09:36 PM

the chiefs defense looked great. Favre belonged here

No wonder it came down to the last play. The Vikes' balls are getting gargled non stop.
