I haven't read a good book in a while (SK's last book The Dome was ass). Guess I'll have to check it out.

Is it more entertaining than The Stand? Possibly.

Is it an "epic" work like The Stand? Not at all.

That's part of the reason I liked 11-22-63 (his latest) so much. It was really the first time where it felt like the stuck the landing. Great book.

Yeah, WWZ actually more like a collection of short stories, with global narrative that ties them all together.

WWZ looks good...it's if as good as the book then it will be very good!

This is a fan made trailer right? I mean, clips from 28 weeks later, Seven, Resident Evil 2.

WWZ was a unique post apocalyptic view of the world after the Zombies attack, instead right at the begining. It shows how the world dealt with the crisis. I thought very interesting, and offers a lot of food for thought.

I read the other day that Brad Pitt was signed for the movie.

Disappointing really. Zombie movies are better when there is new blood.

Volume 15 of the comic is coming today. Can't wait for the mail to get here.

I remember that too, and I think he plays Todd Wanio (sp?), but that trailer was not WWZ, it was every other zombie movie ever, and some that weren't.

Pitt's production company secured the rights. That doesn't necessarily mean that he's going to star in it.

Edit: Nevermind. Evidently he IS going to star in it. Still, he's a good actor.

Yeah, I think he's playing the role of the interviewer.

blaise 12-21-2011 09:42 AM

I like Pitt, and I think him being in it and being involved with it means he thinks it's not some half assed bullshit production.
