In replying someone who has sent you a message on a dating website, what are things guys expect (who aren't douches looking for one night stands)? I mean, if they've sent me a message, then I've obviously passed the cut on looks, right?

One other thing I've noticed is how someone checks your profile every time the send a response. Once they stop replying, I figure they don't like what I have to say or they've decided to pursue someone else. Some kind of second cut I didn't pass.

I'd imagine most guys genuinely looking for a relationship would just want you to send them a message asking basic things about them. Not too short, not too long. The goal is to get to know someone a little bit right?

Dating websites tell you when someone has looked at your profile? Really? That seems odd and creepy...

The dating sites that I looked at before I got with my wife never did that.

You can see when people were last online, who's viewed your profile and when, etc.

I've used Plenty of Fish before and a lot of the chicks are stuck up in my area. Most of them are gold diggers and have waaaaay too high expectations. Sigh I guess I'll stick to dating fat or avg chicks.

I'm guessing you were at a site that was a little more professional than the OKC / PoF tier.

sorry to hear that dude. Maybe it was that time of the month or something. Women are generally bi polar in nature. Just something us guys have to deal with.

And I just saw all those other posts. Doesn't matter because I realized that I actually don't love her anymore. I'm ready to go home. I'm sitting next to her in the Denver airport and we haven't talked to each other in a friendly manner since breakfast.

Our flight to Denver left at 7 am so we had to leave for the airport at 5:30 am.

On Saturday we were going to a show and when I was getting dressed for the show I realized I left the shirt at her house. So I went to Ross and bought a new shirt. We went to the show and had a great time then we got back and she was just so mad a t me over the shirt thing and said she can't see herself with someone who forgets a shirt so I called her out on it as being a stupid excuse blah blah blah. We were both drunk at the time.

Sunday we made up and kept doing our stuff.

This morning we had breakfast at a Bed and Breakfast and they ****ed up because we told them she's a vegetarian who doesn't eat eggs and they were supposed to accommodate her, so I told the people to bring her something that she could eat. She wasn't happy about that and hasn't been talking to me.

Yeah I'm over it.

She sounds high maintenance.
