Watching the 2022 AFC Championship overtime and I think I am more confident than previously.
Mahomes played a TERRIBLE 2nd half for him but in the OT there was some unfortunate things that happened when the Chiefs had the ball. Yes, the Bengals forced those issues but sometimes things snowball. DeMarcus Robinson runs a bad route and doesn't turn around and sit down in the area Mahomes expects him to. As Mahomes is throwing to a sideline out route Hendrickson raises his hands right in front of Mahomes making him HAVE to throw high. On 3rd and 10 Mahomes really throws a perfect throw to Hill that would have hit him in the hands. The Bengal DB just makes great play at perfect timing to get his hand between Hills hands. Sometimes shit happens like that in football. |
