Yeah, we just aren't smart enough to see the genius behind starting Jamari Traylor. And we should be happy they blew a 9-Pt lead with 6 to go running an offense a HS team would be embarrassed to run.

You want to bitch about the starting lineup, even though that lineup dominated until 6 minutes left. So, yeah... There's no point in bitching about Jamari traylor starting, because we were winning with that starting lineup.

Now you want to bitch about the finish. 9 points up with six minutes to go. Are you watching football? Do you think that is a comfortable lead? Were you confused why Bill Self didn't just run the ball to eat up clock?

And of course it was the offense that stagnated, losing the game, as opposed to an All-American and potential POY candidate going beast mode.

I want to see Bragg starting over Jamari. I want to see Mickelson taking minutes. I want to see Lucas quit trying to show us what a finesse post player he is with soft jump hooks.

I want Diallo.

But it's like you people haven't watched KU before. Seniors ALWAYS start the season at the top of the rotation. Freshmen earn playing time by conference. It's how self likes to build them up.

Michigan state scouted us perfectly, but that's something that posters here are incapable of seeing. All they see is their favorite players not in the lineup or perry Ellis taking more minutes than they think he should. Nuances of the game aren't really their thing.

KU had the chance to run away w/ that game when they were up 13 and didn't stomp their foot on their throat for the kill. KU started playing sluggish, couldn't generate anything offensively, esp from the guards. Ellis was good on the offensive end, and very poor on the defensive end which is what we should expect to see all year. He's not going to just all of a sudden become a good defender...that's just not his game, he's too soft. Even offensively hes a finesse post player. Traylor though doesn't have any talent. He's a poor scorer inside the paint, can't shoot. He's the guy you had on your HS that made the team because he was athletic and had good size and was a body and could somewhat handle his own just because of that fact. But that was all he could do, and he couldn't really defend well and would foul a lot. Traylor is that guy on KU. MSU ended up coming back and eventually won. Poor effort by Self and his guys in the 2nd half. Izzo outcoached Self (again).

And with that, #1 UNC just lost to Northern Iowa.

Everybody knows the NCAA is a joke. I'm not sure how a bigger deal hasn't been made of this. The NCAA should be the ones under an investigation and such.

Mark my words, Devonte Graham is going to be a All-Big 12 player someday. He looked like total garbage in the last game, but he's a do all guard, who will eventually be a really good floor general. He will end up averaging the most assists per game of any Kansas Bill Self player. Guaranteed.
