Morris was always coming back and reaching out with his outside shoulder to draw a punch and then trying to body the guy. So DEs started waiting for that outside hand and just swiped it away. Thuney went with the inside hand to draw some activity then got square and got ridden backwards. By no means a good rep, but not a predictable one. That's where Morris is getting killed. Because his reps are just just too predictable at this point. Thuney, while not as agile (or really as powerful) as you'd want at that position, is incredibly technical. You're not going to get him making the same first move over and over and over again. You may beat him, may be him with some regularity even, but you won't beat him as BADLY or as quickly as Morris was getting beaten. And that's all any of us have been asking for over the last several weeks. It was what had us calling for Morris to go back in to begin with. Morris HAD been losing slowly. Until he wasn't. |

Thuney's playing with a guard's stance and if he is asked to play out there on Sunday, he's going to be really susceptible to speed because that stance isn't conducive to a rapid kick-slide and turn. |
I'm not a fan at all of putting Thuney at LT. It disrupts the rest of the line.

Joshua Brisco is pissed at Clay lol

It’s currently Humphries job to lose, he couldn’t have asked for a better scenario.
Let’s see what he's got! |
Huh? They're just taking the piss out of how stupid it was.

I'm sure we all remember Will Shields pulling spot duty at LT here and there back in the day, and while he performed credibly it still didn't look just quite right |

just guessing, because my knowledge of OL play is basic at best, but isn't his first responsibility not to let anyone beat him to the inside? I think he just got fooled because he thought he was going to block the guy to the inside, then by the time he realized that the outside rusher was coming, it was too late and he ended up letting him go by untouched. |
If DJ is even average Sunday I'm going to have an erection longer than the Morris/Kingsley pressures allowed list.
