For sure, the presumption is that we are working on a restructure for both him and Jones. That's based on SW's recent "sunglasses" tweet response when someone mentioned that, and reports that Veach is trying to retain the core.

Just curious if we have a date/timeline we are working against.

Ideally we'd be able to trade some pieces away - if we go that route - prior to the draft to maximize the picks we have since its a deep class.

This says to me the Chiefs very much do not want to lose Sammy Watkins, there's no other reason to play it this way unless you think you can get something done with him.

Looking at that list, we have to move on from LDT and D.Wilson.
