Yeah, not sure about getting worse at TWO positions instead of just one.

You know what's going to be fun?

Watching all the people that didn't want to re-sign OBJ crying because the Chiefs don't take a WR in the first 2 rounds.

So you're on the 'sign DHop' bandwagon now?

Whatever. I for one am excited. There will be re-shuffling the deck every off-season, and Veach has my trust. No matter what, we're going to be right back in the thick of things, and it's going to be fun.

All of this, I feel absolutely no need to cook up a hot take here

Whatever happens, its going to work out fine

Hey, we started 7th round rookies at CB and RB, why not LT? LET'S DO THIS.

Ummm not unless it's for a 3rd/4th and on his current contract.

I’m kind of amazed there are still people who stress about this stuff. Pretty clear they’ve decided to move on because they think they have better options. I’ll trust them because all they do is kick everyones asses and win Super Bowls.

They moved on from Tyreek Hill and Tyrann Mathieu in one offseason and proceeded to win the Super Bowl the following year. After accomplishing something like that, they are beyond questioning. Quite frankly, I think they knew they were never resigning him, just like Mathieu last year. They just had to say all the right things. They have a plan already in motion as usual, I’m sure.

Lol, well then unless I missed a trade or something, we're going to have to draft a WR and probably earlier is better than later, no?

Sure, preferably, we'd use a 1st or 2nd, but I don't see anything other than OT and EDGE in the first 2 rounds after today's moves.

I still think we'll draft one in the 3rd, but many of the people that don't want OBJ also want a WR early.

So, we have MVS, Toney and Skyy. I don't count the Ross' since there's no significant chance either will play in 2023, and Kemp is apparently going to WAS.

And I agree we're probably going to attempt to draft a LT and DE or DL anyway with the first two.

So, we're going to roll with a 3rd/4th round WR. Ack.

Resign Watson and a veteran receiver on a cheap, 1 year deal

I'm sure they'll bring Watson back as well.

And it will be fine, and we'll be a serious contender, even if we only have a top 5 offense instead of the #1 offense, because we'll pair it with a top 5 defense and rape faces.

It's going to be fine, man. Mahomes plus best 52. Trust.

If anything, I would prefer kicking Thuney out to be plan B in case of injury or something not day one starting line up...
