I told y’all before the season started that the Royals are gonna win it all

Winning a game where you constantly shit yourself in regards to getting runners in is a pretty good sign. Not necessarily something you want to make a habit of, but nice to not have your A game and still pull one out.

Easy to pick on the offense but what an outing from our bullpen. 3 innings zero hits.

Best record in the AL.

So far I'm really liking the makeup of this team. If guys don't go reverse themselves back to mediocre, this could be something the build on.

This hasn’t exactly been an easy schedule either. Only the Rangers suck of the teams that we’ve played. Everyone else is at least pretty good.

I think Seattle has a better record

That game went from looking like it was going to be a horribly frustrating loss to becoming a great win.

I like that we are winning but the hitting is dismal. We swing at bad pitches and take pitches right down the middle!!!!

Seattle is 9-6 with today to go. Royals are 9-5.

Don’t know bout all that, but I thought they were being undervalued. Lot of solid pieces/potential throughout the roster.

They’ve gotten nothing from 3-4 of their top hitters (Mondesi hasn’t even played), and very few quality starts, yet here they are at 9-5.

On a % basis we are the best for the moment. Boston has 2 more wins than us and Seattle has 1 more loss than us but obviously both have played more games than us.

:pThe more we play, the more confidence we will become at the plate.

But you are correct, we need a combined batting order to come alive. So far Taylor has cooled off, Bennitteni, Dozier & Solier not hitting.

They have to start making contributions at the plate.

If the pitching can continue like it has been lately and the offense can actually get going finally, look out.

It’s a long season, obviously, but we could have something here . . . . . .

We’ve pulled a few from the fire like that this year. We had a win against CWS and LAA a lot like this one, too.
