Chargers literally got blown out by Denver last week with Herbert only getting 13 points on the board and throwing 2 picks. You're embarrassing yourself.

The first drive is where they look more to short passes and runs. When they try throwing it 10 to 20 yards, guys either drop it or Mahomes misses them. They're being too stubborn. Need to go back to the short stuff instead of trying to will bigger plays.

You're right, we should...Mahomes actually has a Super Bowl ring, a Super Bowl MVP, and an NFL MVP. Herbert has yet to even make an AFC Championship game appearance.

If the Chiefs were behind, I have no doubt they would have pushed to score there anyway. But given that they had the lead and the ball coming out of half, there's nothing wrong with how that went down. After that short run on 1st down, your odds of scoring on that drive decline pretty significantly. Fangio was really the coward for not calling his own timeout there.
