I fully expect Mizzou to beat Florida next week.

No idea what to expect any week.

While the uncertainty around the Mauk suspension looms, they have an advantage over the opponent as they aren't totally sure who to prepare for. Neither are we in result.

I think MU is the better team, but I have my hesitations about a freshman in the swamp.

Mauk is done. Florida won't spend one second preparing for him.

I am reserved about freshmen in the swamp, too, which is why it's good the game is in Columbia, not Gainesville.

I would be absolutely floored if Maty Mauk ever suits up for Mizzou again. Would mean the rumors I've heard about him aren't nearly as bad as I've heard.

At The Zou.

Oh crap duh. Forgot we crushed them with all D and ST with 0 offense in the swamp last year.

Yeah next week looks pretty good IMO.

Muschamp is not their HC anymore. McElwain is much better and that team is far more dangerous than the pathetic excuse they fielded the last few years.

BryanBusby 10-03-2015 10:02 PM

Yeah, I know. They have a HC that has smoker teeth now.

The Tigers are still capable of generating enough pressure to make Grier panicky.

But they lack the offensive weapons to scare that defense even a little.

I feel a little better after seeing a pulse from the run game against USC. They aren't a great D by any means, but it's encouraging after they struggled against a FCS squad.

If they can run efficiently, I think Lock can throw it enough to keep things rolling. Florida will be a good test.

OK, that seems interesting.

Sorry for bumping this, but it does make me wonder: Is Mizzou really that much better at identifying, developing, and coaching D-line talent?

Walter Brady played a hell of a game. I know that doesn't answer your question but I've been really impressed by him.
