No. But if you want to develop biceps, skip the curls and go for the pull ups.

If you want to develop biceps, you train them directly. yes, chins & pullups will hit them indirectly but you need direct arm work if want fully developed arms.

I rarely ever do bicep specific workouts. Oddly enough, my biceps are one of the most impressive parts of my physique.

How's that for bad genetics?!

I know the feels. Apparently, I'm taller than the statistical average (thanks to whoever posted that link in the 'Short Actors' thread!) but I have a very slim build.

I've now resigned to the fact that I'll likely be "small" my whole life.

I used to be the same way but adding in a bicep workout 4 months ago has resulted in some impressive gains. in the 6 months leading up to the change I had added .25" and in the last 4 months I've add a full inch.

Also in the same boat. I'm 6'4" and with a slim build. I'm never going to be built like a tank but I can still look good and maximize my genetic potential with this frame.

I'm not saying you need to do a bicep specific workout, I'm just saying it's dumb to NOT do any direct arm work if one of your goals is a decent looking arm. I've not seen anyone with decent arms (18"+) not at least add some curls in after a back workout or finish triceps off after a heavy push day.

A day completely dedicated to just biceps is silly... at least make it a clean up day like arms/abs/calves/etc.

Was reviewing the "things people do that annoy" you thread.

Here's one and fix it if it's you. The need to stand between the benches, or directly in front of the dumbbell racks because you think you need to see the ****ing mirror to do your curls. Seriously, you don't need the mirror to do a ****ing curl so get the **** out of the way for others needing the benches or the weights.

I hate the mirrors, especially when they put them in the power rack. Nothing worse for your form than watching yourself squat.

I wasn't disagreeing with you, just making a general observation about myself. My biceps get a lot of indirect workout through wide-grip pull ups, lat pull downs, seated rows, etc. but I rarely ever actually do any type of curl. That makes it kind of odd that they're one of my best physical features.

Not to gay up the thread, but are any of you guys familiar with Simeon Panda? I was perusing Instagram fitness pages the other day and came across this dude. He has, to me, the most ridiculous physique ever.

I spoiler tagged the pics so you guys don't have to see them every time you visit the thread, but talking about amazing genetics. I'm sure that guy also probably lives in the gym and takes a shit load of supplements.
