Very true.

But it's also true that Russell Wilson isn't the prototypical QB and that if Seattle had a Ryan, Brady, Manning or Rodgers at the helm, their offensive scheme would be different than that of Wilson's.

He's the modern day Fran Tarkenton, with a staunch running game (Chuck Foreman) and fearsome defense (The Purple People Eaters). The difference is that Wilson won a Super Bowl while Tarkenton lost the three in which he appeared.

There's no doubt that Wilson is a very good QB but I'd take Rodgers, Ryan, Brady, Brees and the Manning's before him.

Is this what you're looking for, Hootie? The part where I said he was a very good QB but not in the same class as Rodgers, Ryan, Brees and the Manning brothers?

If so, you got me.

Some team will pay him but I'll be shocked if it's Seattle.

Maybe this is the quote you were looking for, Hootie?

BTW, did Wilson get $25 million per? Is he the highest paid player in the game?

There's no way in the world I'd give up two first round picks for a 5'10 game manager that's had the best defense and running game in the NFC since his career began.

Lol

Not even close.

Dumbass.

From Sports Illustrated's Robert Klemko this morning:

3. I think the Seahawks ultimately will franchise Russell Wilson in 2016 after his rookie contract expires, then let him walk in free agency. Based on the numbers I’m hearing out of the current contract talks, Wilson wants to be paid like the type of quarterback who would excel in any offense, without a world-class defense and an All-Pro running back. And despite all of Wilson’s successes, I don’t think John Schneider and his coaches are convinced he’s that kind of quarterback.

Did anyone give up 2 picks for Wilson?

Did he get a five year, $110 million dollar deal with $80 million guaranteed?

LMAO

The answer is a clear and unequivocal NO.

Dumbass drunktard.

The same cannot be said for Russell Wilson.

Pretty close, most guaranteed money ever

He's not the highest paid QB in the league, dummy, which was your contention all along.

LMAO

So $80 million is "close" to $60 million?

LMAO

You need a remedial math lesson, drunkard.

Never my contention. He's paid $100K less than Aaron and got $60M guaranteed and gets to become a free agent at 30

He actually did even better. Now he'll get another mega contract, earlier.

Of course nobody gave up two picks for him, because he was never on the market and any talk would have been tampering.

His four year contract is equivalent to the five year contract you talk about.

I'd say admit you were wrong and move on, but you think Brady is innocent so I won't even bother.

You're so full of ****ing shit I can see it on the computer screen.

You've stated many times that Wilson deserved to be the highest paid player in the league, that he was better than almost any other QB and he'd get paid, big time.

5 years, $110 million with $80 million guaranteed was YOUR number.

Instead, he received a four year extension, which is a 5 year deal, for $60 million guaranteed with a total of $87.5 million.

Those numbers are so far off from your speculation that laughing is an understatement.
