Instead of using the Smith trade and cap room to fix the rest of the defense we are using it to replace Peters. If we don't get a guard in free agency because we sign a corner will people be thrilled?

Whoever replaces Peters will likely get paid more next year to be less effective. And getting money that could have gone somewhere else. There better have been a bunch behind the scenes we didn't know. Not this crap about the flag throw and national anthem (and that kneel pisses me off btw).

We needed to fix our secondary even with berry and Peters. We did with Fuller. We now are back to having to fix the secondary.
